I have feelings for this school and good memories for my kids, too . But ???????? you need to improve your communication level a bit, please. I have been trying to contact the moral teacher for year 7 for more than 3 weeks and no raspunz . Please improve your relationship with patients and do not tell me class dojo because I did my best through this app to speak to the teacher and nothing. Take into consideration that I am a father for three kids in this school .

I am very much upset because all my relatives graduates (private and government schools) are having a gown, but my daughter is not because she is in this school, even when I tried to talk to mrs. sara fraser, she didn’t take any actions to my concerns, talking to her through class dojo no response!!
I am upset that I registered her in this school ☹️☹️☹️

If you have low budget, this school is very good for your choice，affordable and so many competition and events.The app for communication with parents is very good, parents can send message to homeroom teacher directly. Some teachers would send photos of kids time to time , parents are happy .

The disadvantage points: small classroom for 26 kids at primary are very crowded, few washrooms for whole grade, library is small, one book brought home during half term, depending on bring books to school or online reading is not workable, if you wish your kids love to read, you may disappointed . Start from year 1 asked to bring own device , swimming pool is not suitable for beginners of year 1-2 . Each grade only has 1 or 2 native British teachers, most of teachers are non native British.

Be careful with this school and when children get hurt during school hours. The school will ask you to wait one day of observation before going to the hospital. The next day when you go to the hospital and you will have to pay medical bills for the injuries your child had during those school hours. They will tell you that they are not responsible for any medical costs. I contacted a lawyer and the doctor at the hospital who took care of my daughter and informed me that this is completely false and dishonest on the part of the school and that they are 100% responsible for the costs medical for injuries occurring during school hours. Of course, I followed up with a formal complaint to demand payment of these high costs that I have already raised. I must also alert the parents that the Principal is not afraid to use lies, he assured that my daughter when she left school was perfectly fine and felt no pain. So I found that he had not had the information that I had received a written certificate from the school doctor that same day that my daughter was still in pain. So be very careful of yourself and your child, it is really dangerous to deal with this kind of dishonest person especially when it comes to the safety and health of children. If I hadn't insisted on taking my daughter to hospital, her wrist would be broken right now, just because they didn't want to bear the costs of their negligence. Take care to demand everything said orally in writing for any injury on the day.

There's communication gap from the school.

Sports day was organized but parents were not informed about the games types. How are the parents supposed to train their kids for the games????

Very nice school. All teachers and staff are friendly and caring .The effort they did to creat educational environment for the kids is really appreciated. The kids will be always excited to go school. Recommended school.

Newlands School is one of the good schools in Dubai. We decided to choose this school because we were impressed by their organization and dedication to their students. We loved the friendly & family atmosphere in the school. The staff, teachers, students and parents are all one big family. My son was happy from day one and love his classmates and teachers. Teachers are well qualified and support their students. The communication tool in the school is amazing, I can easily contact the teachers and the management whether through the app or email or just visiting the school. Through the pandemic period, the school did a great job for the online learning and returning back to school was successful too. Thanks for Mr David & all the staff. Keep safe and take care. We will miss you Newlands!!

This is the best school I've been to. Teachers are nice, caring, all of the people around are friendly. You will not have a hard time making friends or studying. Overall, i really love the environment, so good luck on your journey, real good times... miss the school... :)
