I am currently learning from Noni, online, since I don't live in Dubai. It has been a brilliant process so far. Noni's multiple cameras setup and digital mastery makes it feel like I'm sitting right next to her, watching each single brush stroke and each single pencil line with HD quality. I feel its top quality mentorship. She is able to digitaly draw or paint or mix colors right on top of my art work and that makes the problem areas quickly identifiable and I can then follow what she has done at her end. Thank you so much Noni.

Noni's art studio is a great space to learn to paint. Noni is an incredible mentor. i have only been going to the studio for a year but have seen massive improvement in my drawing and painting skill.

I'll begin with my background: I enrolled in Noni's classes in August to prepare my portfolio for my application for the Masters of Science in Biomedical Communications at University of Toronto.

It was a daunting task, as I had to render forms in a realistic manner and produce incredibly life-like paintings and drawings. I was not at all close to level of finesse required for the application; my drawings lacked depth and I had next to no experience with painting. What made matters worse was the pandemic, as it ruled out the possibility of going to art studios or live classes. The task that lay before me seemed impossible to overcome.

That all changed when I enrolled for Noni's online classes. Things gradually began to fall into place. Though the classes were online, the measures Noni had taken allowed her to overcome the constraints of online art classes. The multi-camera setup allowed me to view Noni's demonstrations on painting and drawing techniques in order to understand the various processes such as mixing colors, blending, shading, washes, etc. For feedback on my artwork, Noni was able to draw digitally over the photos of artwork I had sent to her and give live and precise feedback. Such measures made me feel like I was in a class and eliminated the barriers that came with online classes.

Furthermore, the classes worked. My skills as an artist had been elevated beyond what I expected and the contrast in the quality of artwork I was producing before and after taking Noni's classes is staggering. I've attached photos of artwork I've created, one of which includes a portrait I had drawn before enrolling in Noni's classes and a portrait I had made while enrolled. The difference in skill and execution is night and day. This would not have been impossible without Noni's instruction and academic knowledge. Her background in the fine arts, coupled with the classical teaching approach, helped me process and render form realistically with a wide range of mediums. Noni understands the steps needed for a beginner to get comfortable with a medium and the academic/classical lessons she provides helped me out so much. As a result, I developed a confidence with pencils, oils, watercolors, charcoal, and even digital painting.

Finally, the most important thing about these classes is the lively spirit and enthusiasm Noni has as an instructor. It's contagious! The support and encouragement I received is what kept me going and helped me overcome any sort of hurdle I experienced. It is evident that this is her passion, to cultivate the arts among youngsters so that they have the strength and ability to express their individual selves as artists.

I cannot recommend Noni's classes enough. Whether you're trying to rekindle your hobby of painting or trying to improve your skills as a fine artist, Noni's classes are a fun and productive experience.

Noni’s art studio is a great place to practice and learn art. She forms relationships with everyone who enters and is very lovely to be around. I have been learning a lot about colors and mixing paints.

I've been painting with Noni for 5 years. I learned so many things: sketching, shading, oil painting. Noni is very kind and helpful and always pushes you to be creative but she guides you at the same time. I love her classes and cannot wait to be there again!

I've been painting here for 5 years now, and I have had a wonderful time so far. I learnt so many things: like sketching, shading, painting, proportion and many other things - things I didn't learn at school. Noni is very kind and helpful, and helps you on whatever you are working on - the artwork in class, Art Assessments and other things in general as well. Though it is a 3 hour painting class, every minute is enjoyable and educational for all artists.
