Don’t forget to have a trip up to the wishing tree. People have put lots of different stuff on it. Once across the bridge you’ve loads of walking to do along the cycle way.

Nice walking and cycling path..short walk down and you get to shore through the rocks...bridge to go over the highway ..

Fantastic views across Colwyn Bay towards Rhos-on-Sea and distant Rhyl looking West. Lovely headland, peaceful despite being right by the busy A55 Expressway. Interesting collection of concrete beach sea defence anchors from when the A55 was constructed. Nice spot for sea fishing from the rock faces and well worth a walk from Old Colwyn promenade. Also a great place for photography.

A walk along the North Wales coast on level surfaces. We walked from Rhos and it was a leisurely two and a half hours there and back. Several refreshment outlets and a couple of public toilets along the promenade. Cycle friendly too.

It's no more and no less than a foot bridge over the A55. Both sides of the bridge start with regular steps which then become wider and more open; the top section is a crescent-shaped section of path without steps. It is not suitable for wheelchairs or electric mobility buggies. The approach path on the south side, nearest to the cliffs and houses, is apt to become very boggy in inclement weather. Access from the north side, by the cycle path, is less affected by inclement weather. If gazing at passing traffic is your thing, then come and give the bridge a look.

A rather splendid place to stop for a picnic or to admire the views. Possibly neither on a wet or and windy day. Watch out for the dog walkers attached to impossibly long leads!
