A visit place for any new comer or tourist to Dubai is quite incomplete without a visit to the OLD SOUQ aka SOUQ AL KABEER (The Grand Bazaar). Primarily a retail walk through market also known as the CHAPRA BAZAAR (The ROOF market), which was covered with Asbestos Sheets from right to left. The pillars and the intricately carved roof rebranded the ROOF concept in the late 1990's. Also home to the ABRA - the WATER TAXI - Which plies between the two districts - Bur Dubai and Deira.
