I would like to share our wonderful experience at the Bel and Dragon yesterday as we celebrated my husband's birthday with our family. It was truly an unforgettable afternoon. The setting of the restaurant is simply beautiful, and the atmosphere exceeded our expectations in every way.

Our children were absolutely fascinated by the chefs' herb garden, and they had a great time relaxing on the deck chairs in the garden area. The attention to detail in creating such a charming and welcoming space is commendable.

We were fortunate to have Lily as our waitress, and she was absolutely amazing. She took excellent care of our table of 10 and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable dining experience. Our young children were particularly enamoured by her and the rest of the friendly staff. The warmth and hospitality they showed us made our time at the restaurant even more enjoyable.

The roast we had was extremely delicious and easily the best we have had in quite some time. The flavours were exceptional, We all left the restaurant completely satisfied and looking forward to returning for another delicious meal.

Overall, our time at the Bel and Dragon was nothing short of fantastic. The beautiful setting, friendly staff, and mouthwatering food made it a truly memorable celebration for my husband's birthday. We highly recommend this establishment and will definitely be back.

Staff amazing, decor & vibe great but the food is horrible. The truffle Mac & cheese was a mushroom slop of pasta with a sprinkling of cheese on top. Hardly Mac & cheese & I didn't taste any truffle in it at all. Burger - poor. It is a frozen store bought patty based on eating it. Food is absolutely terrible here, don't waste your money here. Go across the road to the other pub for better food. This place is only worthy of a drink

Me and my friend went down for dinner to have the surprise menu.
My god it was so worth it. All the dishes were thought out so well and tasted amazing, the chef came out to explain each one.
The service was also excellent glass of wine with every dish to!
I can’t fault it one bit would definitely recommend and 100% will be doing it again!

Extremely charming pub recommended by a local friend, offering an elevated dining experience and seasonal menu. Staff very attentive. Indoor space is beautiful. Highly recommend the backyard patio when the sun is shining. Thoroughly enjoyed the fish and double cooked chips- both were perfect with delicious mint peas and tartar sauce. Aperol spritz made just right, too. We look forward to returning and I may just order the same again!

What a little gem of a place. Stayed overnight and was really pleased with the snug yet lovely room. Nice little touches, e.g. complementary slow gin! Breakfast was excellent. Only tiny caveat is that parking can be tricky to find on the High Street but it's such a great place that this didn't really matter. Highly recommended. And great value for money.

Went for a Sunday roast,
The food was really nice, it's definitely on the pricey side with a meal for 5 coming in at just over £350

I didn't stay so can't comment on the rooms. Parking is can be difficult so do arrive ahead of you booking

Nice old world pub with dining and garden to the rear. Service a little slow...very similar to the Bel and Dragon in Churt but centre of the village here.

No parking but plenty in the street.
