I never been in Thailand but here i can taste new flavors and delicious food.

Being a Thai cuisine lover, I am always keen to try out new restaurants. My test is a basic one - the green and red curries. Tried the Red Chicken Curry at Pad Thai Al Seef on the evening of 31st December, and to say that it was disappointing would be a proper understatement. The flavour was an utterly feeble attempt by what appeard to be a clueless 'chef', and the chicken was overcooked. The portion of rice made up the large bulk and amount of sauce was quite inadequate. It was actually amusing that a restaurant calling itself Pad Thai would serve food that tasted nothing like Thai. This could either mean that the restaurant really is clueless, or even worse feels that the category of guests that eat there are not expected to know what Thai really tastes like. Shame!

This lovely windmill is open a few days a year , in excellent condition and lots of inspiring information about the history from the miller. Walking backwards down stairs is challenging. Nice tea room. Free entry, though donations are welcome

A wonderful place to visit! They have loads of time to chat and talk about all the history and the owner even rebuilt the mill himself from scratch! Highly recommended!
