We were craving Indonesian food and decided to order from Padi Village, which seemed to have a really promising spread going by their menu (particularly extensive vegan options).

After the order being turned down by the restaurant the last time we tried we thought we were in for some good food when our order was accepted and delivered this time, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

Although we ordered vegetarian food, it still smelt of fish oil which was a straight put-off. The peanuts were soggy and not even the least bit crunchy and same was the plight of the egg paratha as well. The most disappointing part of the order was the Nasi Lemak which didn't even have an ounce of flavour. The only saving grace were the peanut balls which ofcourse had some texture and flavour despite their oiliness.

Skip it to avoid disappointment from high expectations!

A small restaurant in Business Bay, very difficult to find out the restaurant location.
We tried Nasi goreng kampung, maggi goreng and chicken satay.
We liked chicken satay.
Nasi goreng, too salty and Maggi goreng, too sweet and sour, are not up to the mark.

Customer service is very good, nice hospitality.
Parking fees will be deducted from the bill, good attempt.

The restaurant was recommended to me by Chef Rene Johari and all of my expectations were met! I was amazed with the portion and the price! Totally worth what you paid for. The food was delicious!

The food was packed properly. Will definitely order again or even visit the restaurant soon!

If you’re familiar with the Malaysian/Singaporean kitchen than this is the place to go in Dubai as you will not find really authentic Malaysian food anywhere else in Dubai!! Today we came especially back for the famous Chicken Rice (see pictures from our last visit) which they unfortunately didn’t had. So instead we had Nasi Lemak Fried Chicken and Singaporean Fried Rice with Satay and extra Sambal Prawn as side-dish. This was just amazing!! We had an culinair throwback to the times we used to live in Singapore. Their sambal is really spicy, just like the sambals in Malaysia and Singapore! To compensate our disappointment that there was no Chicken Rice available, the owner gave us complimentary Chicken Wings and Curry Puffs, amazing service!!! Wil definitely go back….and not only for the Chicken Rice this time!!

We’d gone to Padi Village on weekend night to try out the place since we were craving for some Singaporean/Malay food for ages! The team was so hospitable from the minute we walked in! We ordered the Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken, Beef Rendang and Squid Sambal, as well as the seafood Mee Goreng. For drinks, we ordered the Iced teh tarik and it tasted pretty good! The food tasted very homely and comforting. It was not too spicy either but I’m sure they’d amp up the spice if you’d like! We’d spoken to the owners and they’d mentioned about opening up for breakfasts - would love to try it once it’s started! My kaya toast cravings will be satisfied soon enough then ????

It is a wonderful cozy place to dine in. The place is not crowded and the staff were friendly and attentive. Had few dishes - Nasi Kandar, nasi lemar, chicken satay, chilli crab pao and all these were excellent. Bit disappointed with beef rendang as it was bland and missing the rich flavours, not to be recommended.

Newly established waterside restaurant serving mainly Straits (Malaysian, Singaporean) favourites. Co-owner and recipe creator Siti is passionate about authenticity and has careful plans to bring authentic flavours to Dubai. The Nasi Lemak (steamed coconut infused rice, condiments and fried chicken) was good, as was the accompanying sambal (rich, spicy, flavoursome, dipping sauce). Satay chicken was good too, being tasty and tender. The beef satay could benefit from using a different cut of beef and smaller chunks as it was kebab-like and firm. Prawn sambal was very good - juicy prawns and full flavoured. The beef rendang was too liquid, needed stewing longer and a little less sweet. The other dishes were ok, but need finessing to get that raw-and-punchy “kopitiam” (cafe) taste and feel. Keen to see how the recipes evolve and look forward to their planned regular specials. Good and welcome start overall.

Tasty and authentic South Asian dishes, and at a reasonable price. The Mee goreng and Mi curry were very good. Good selection of drinks as well. This place is run by a bunch of Singaporeans who are passionate about their home food.

Local gem. It's absolutely worth the trudge up the hill. This park has an absurd number of things in it. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness/outdoor gym area, an area where kids play football, a massive children's playground, and an area where people let their dogs off-leash. Because it's built into the hillside, everything is stepped and on different levels, which makes it feel sort of scenic and expansive. Really lovely place.

A small clean local park with minimal play equipments but good for picnic , using outdoor gym equipments and tennis courts. Only swings can be used by adults .
Located near a primary school and gets busy with babies, toddlers and young children. I always enjoy visiting the park with family and friends for a game of badminton, tennis or picnic .

This place is good for most of the sports you wanna play . From doing heavy exercise to Football/Basketball. It's actually a very calm(except for train sounds) and peaceful place do meditation , yoga or workout . It's good for everyone .

pretty decent basketball court(besides of the bad design of the rim and it’s lack of net)

Great local park. Small but has tennis courts, a kids playground, and a few little grass areas. Very popular with local dogs and dog walkers! Our puppy loves coming here to meet other dogs.
