Padippura restaurant, located in Deira, serves a variety of dishes, mostly Kerala cuisine.
It is spacious and there is enough sunlight entering around the central area, which makes it very pleasant.
Tried a couple of dishes which were my first time as well. Their signature dish is the paal kappa, which is basically tapioca cooked in coconut milk, and mixed with fish curry. This was served in coconut leaf. It was literally melt in the mouth. Divine flavors!
Another first time trying was the kaithi biriyani. It’s good to be shared among 4-6 people. About 2Kg Tamil biriyani which comes with two varieties of chicken fry, beef (those who don’t eat beef will surely get replacement), fish fry and boiled eggs. You get side dishes of dry coconut chutney aka chamanthi, salad, chicken gravy, pappad, pickle.

For starters, I tried seed chilly fish and beef coconut fry. Both were really good. But the latter finished within seconds, the beef was spiced perfectly and cooked perfectly.
Chicken lollipop was another starter that I tried. It was good.

The customer service was super, definitely worth mentioning.

They were running the 'Shap Fest' . Toddy from Kerala was amazing. Never tastes such a nice spirit before. Had Kappa & King Fish Head Curry, outstanding!

It was great day of my princess birthday were celebrated in padippura restaurant. Good food and great service. Manager Joseph co ordinate everything very well. All service staff was excellent. Really enjoyed.

Wanna enjoy indian food with some toddy then try padipura located at deira hor al ans.. they have a nice ambiance with great food.. their must try is the pal kappa with fish or meat.. so creamy and spicy.. wash this down with some freshly prepared toddy and your in heaven… we also tried their gobi manchurian, beef fry with parotta prawn chatti curry with appam. For starters we had their veg spring rolls and creamy fish..they also have some good deals on drinks.. so definitely a must try.

Authentic kerala food served in this amazing restaurant bar . Lovely staff and ambience , and must try their duck mapas , chicken lollipop. They have great starters and a special menu curated for ipl . You can get drinks here send its a family friendly place too. Loved the ambience and the kerala vibes it gives ????

Padippura nestled in the Grand Abraj hotel Dubai, is a go-to for authentic Malabar cuisine specialized in seafood and fusion dishes. Padippura goes an extra mile in serving a plethora of flavours that are not only delicious – but heavily inspired by the cult favourites at affordable prices, be it the Paal kappa ,appams , Parotta or the piping hot curries.

The ambience is warm and cozy that gives You KERALA vibes as you enter. And there are number of LED TV’s on the walls to keep the sports enthusiasts busy until your food arrives. Also you can find Pool tables at the corners.

-kappa bonda( a fusion dish ) again a hit .

We totally enjoyed our dining experience over here. The staff were very attentive and helpful.
