I like most of the projects done by Perpétual team with Micro-Brand watchmakers. Recently, I purchased the Baltic x Perpétual MR01 and the watch is really stunning. The online team really helped me a lot to complete the online purchase of the watch. However, unfortunately I chose to collect it from the boutique ( I hope if I chose Home delivery). Firstly, when I entered the boutique I informed one of the staff that I’m here to collect the watch as scheduled with the online team and she answered me that the watches will be delivered/dispatched after two days. However, I showed her all the details to prove that I have an appointment to receive the watch. Later on, she brought to me the watch without opening the box and inspecting it before handing it over, I did the inspection and we found the watch was defected (the movement does not reserve the power). She shook the watch trying to make the movement function, but it didn’t (I told her please shooking watches is not recommend for movement, you must turn the crown for initial power delivering). Anyways, after few minutes she offered me to replace the watch with another one as the watch was defected and not functioning. I asked for specific numbers (7 tries) and all of them as per her was assigned for other customers (however, when I ordered the watch no number was assigned to me. She could help me getting 69, 71, 88, 99, 100 or 21 instead of the 94. But finally she accepted to give me a number as my birthday date). I was disappointed that the numbers are assigned for other customers, while as per her too no number should assigned for anypne but it is randomly chosen. Anyways, I love the idea of the Perpétual and thanking them for doing this amazing projects, but wish the boutique experience would be better than this in future time. I rated the watch 5 of 5. The experience of delivering 1 of 5. Thats make me choose 3 stars for this review. Keep it up and I’m happy to wear one of your projects.

Went with my friend to pick up his watch, once we entered he stated that he came to pick his watch (he got early delivery date)as he was informed, anyways she immediately assumed that he wants to fight his way to get the watch and told him the delivery is after three day. After checking she was wrong and his watch was ready. The same lady gave him the box without checking the condition and function of the watch which is a standard in watch industry, my friend checked on the watch and turns out the watch was defected, then he was given another unit. I was planning to buy a perpetual collaboration watch, but now I would consider twice before buying.

Visited the shop today with my friend and was given an absolutely lovely tour and lesson beyond mainstream horology
