Food is ok... but service very poor...The staff(waiter) who takes the order in the restaurant doesn’t care. We reminded him of the order three times but till after 30 minutes complete order never arrived on our table ????

I was in the Gold Souq area to pick up some spices and my husband suggested we stop at Pravin Bhai’s for Pani Puri. The restaurant has been around since the early 80’s and is widely known for its Nashta (Breakfast), Gujrati Thaali’s and Chaats, etc. Finding it might be a challenge since its located in one of inner alleys. Google Maps is your friend.

We ordered Pani Puri and a Vada Pav. The Paani Puri had a generous serving of Puris, 8 to a plate. The stuffing was on the spicier side but surely good. The Vada Pav was pretty decent, although I did feel that the Pav wasn’t too fresh.

The restaurant gives you a feel of old school Dubai, when small family run restaurants were a norm all over. The walls are adourned with pictures of Indian heritage sites and the local cuisine the area is popular for. I surely plan to visit again when I get chance to try out their dinner/lunch offerings.

Highly recommended food joint for Gujarati ! They serve delicious and tasty indian and pure vegetarian food. We enjoyed all the items we ordered there. The food quality is super good !

Its one if the best resturant for vegetarians especially for Indians and most specially for Gujarati's. They serves good varities of indian chat item's with real Indian chat taste, try any thing you will love it. They have one of their signature chip's sandwich which you will only get in the evening time its amazing and really different from actual sandwich. They also severs meals lunch/dinner with a very reasonable rates and food is like home made very simple and higenic. Gujjus must try this if you are nearby :)

Bad experience..
had an unlimited Thali
1. Poor service: based on my experience, waiters in Gujrati restaurants constantly come and check for additional helpings.. here, no one cared and even when I asked for extra helping of food, they served in a way that they are doing me a favour!
2. All Gujrati restaurants have some snacks in their Thali.. these guys didn't have any snacks..
3. The Roti was hard .. I asked for soft ones, got the same.. they are not preparing fresh..
4. For this poor service , AED 23 is very high and unreasonable
5. Parking is a nightmare.. visit this restaurant only if you are visiting Gold Souk by foot

Pure veg restaurant. Very tasty food. They have many variety dishes gujarati, rajastani. 100% jain food also available here. They have many dessert options. Customer service they have to improve much more. Very small place but very rush place. Punjabi dishes also available here. Some type of bakery varieties also available.

This is not Gujarati resturant. Now it’s owned by UP guy and all meals have taste of UP.
Recommended not to go if you are looking for the Gujarati food.

Belpuriii taste is marvellous especially staff behavior is attracting point,We drink masala coffee from there that was awesome
