English Heritage managed Norman Castle. Beautifully kept..imposing position on the outskirts of Newport with great views and lots of walks round and about. For those visiting the Island it's in the top 5 must see bucket list.

absolutely spectacular display of British engineering. first and foremost is the tarmac which shows just how beautiful the isle of wite can bee. second is the automatic parking display monitor. which tells you the cost of your time there.

Some spaces are quite tight due to the vegetation overgrowing into the car park. Reasonably priced though at £0.00 for English heritage members and £3 for non members for the day.

Decently large, spacious car park just down the hill from Carisbrooke Castle’s entrance. Parking is £3 for the whole day or free for members of English Heritage. The castle is located close to Newport and is surrounded by gorgeous Isle of Wight country side. Great place to visit with tonnes of history!

English heritage needs to invest in a rubbish bin that birds and Fox's can't get into.

Can walk right round the outside of this amazing piece of history without paying, although worth going in if you enjoy history.
