Really good location for either walking to Cromer and Sheringham but equally easy to get into West Runton and catch the train. Really good site and well worth the visit and would stay again.
The site managers were really accommodating when my car wouldn't start on departure day.

We love this place. Every year we start our first trip with the caravan at West Runton. Big campsite and is not comerciale like some other. Place for the kids, walking area for the dogs. Never had any problems.

Excellent site. Very quiet, and is not good if you want good internet. Other than that l can highly recommend it. The road there is very narrow so this should be taken into account.

Worth the wait. Every time I've tried to book we've not been able to get in.
This time we did.
What a lovely site. Choice of grass with EHU, grass without EHU or Hard-standing with EHU.
Wardens are a friendly hard working team who keep the site pristine.
Lots of walks.
We love Sandringham CCC but this is on par or possibly better.

This is quite a large campsite. Friendly staff,lovely and clean toilet block. Tidy site. Quite a walk from the beach, but nice area.

Lovely site with lots of walks around the site and into west/east runton, cromer or sheringham. The site was lovely and clean, staff really helpful especially julie who sorted us out an extra night to stay.
The site is in a dip and has a long narrow road down to it with only a few passing places which can be a problem if meet any traffic, the site has a policy as not allowed down the lane before 1PM so you don't meet any units leaving. Worth a visit to the shire horse rescue centre where they have lots of different animals a cafe toilets and shop and it's free all they ask for is a donation

Camping and Caravan club site near East/West Runton access down a steep narrow winding gravel unmade lane, once at the bottom the site sits in a valley, its a nice quiet site surrounded by woodland with clean facilities and pleasant staff and has a sleepy atmosphere.
Don't bother with bicycles because there are no official cycle routes (other than cycling back up the access lane/ track and on to station lane) There are walks from the site to West Runton which involves a steep decline over steps of varying height, and takes approx 30 mins East Runton is a flatter route and takes the same amount of time you can catch the bus to Cromer or Sheringham.
Why no official route... because adjoining the CCC is the CMC site which has a direct cycle walking route to West Runton.

Stayed in our motorhome for 6 days from 13th May, staff very helpful and keep the site exceptionally clean, shower & toilet blocks very good, lots of walks around site leading to other villages, site is very quiet and perfect for a peaceful getaway, the only comment I would make is that due to the size of the site, a second waste bin could be placed at another point so you don't have to walk the whole of the site to dump your rubbish but that's just my opinion, all in all a fantastic place.
