After a horrible experience having a smear test here several years ago, I was terrified to come back. The staff nurse was cold and cheeky and made me feel like I was taking up her time. My more recent smear appointment and blood tests have been much better, the current nursing staff are fantastic. A special mention to Leanne and a male nurse who took my bloods (sorry can’t remember his name). A credit to this place, gosh what an improvement.

Called 3 days in a row, as requested, at 8.30am on the dot.

Recorded message of " sorry the queue is now full".

Calling later on, again as the message says, I get through to reception who say that all appointments are taken, and to try again the next day at 8.30am. it's a never ending rotating door!

This has sadly been my experience on previous occasions too!

Definitely need to review their practices and also further training needed on receptionist customer service and communication skills.

The lead GP partner needs to reflect on this. The GPs and nursing staff have always been lovely with any dealings I've had with them in the past, but the system and practices of being a multi GP practice should be more effective surely!

I am sadly having to use private GP medical care to receive healthcare, as being in pain things just can't wait. Sadly, NHS24 also is having issues with long waiting times etc too.

I know I could change my GP practice but my review relates to this current GP practice and my experience.

It is of concern that I also read of many many previous reviews of similar experience from others.

I will raise concern with local MSP and Care Inspectorate.

By reading the opinions was dreading to get the appoitment, however yes i had to spent few hours on the phone to get through. Huge Thank You to the lady T at the reception for the patience as my cough and loss of hearing made conversation more difficult for me. Dr. Kerr phoned me later that day made assessment and prescribed what was needed. I am on my way to recovery, fingers cross. So yes it was positive experience.

In my experience the Doctor's are actually nice and helpful.
Seeing one is near impossible, because you need to call before a certain time in the morning and usually the automation hangs up on you because they're too busy.
If you try to make an appointment in person they insist you do it over the phone.
"I just want a see a doctor at some point after talking to you, but before the Sun eats the Earth. Any week day in the afternoon will be fine, I'm sure you can pencil me in now."
"No, it has to be over the phone."

This is the worst clinic in Scotland. I called earlier to make an appointment with the doctor, I called for more than a week and didn't get through, now I'm sick and I've been calling for a week and it's the same I'm forced to take a vacation because I'm unable to go to work. What are paid for these doctors and employees in this clinic, or maybe they only treat foreigners this way, but it follows from the opinion that they are not. Not even a single star can be awarded, but you need to submit a review and I do not recommend this clinic to even my worst enemy

If i could give no stars i would go in with mental health problems to get told how the doctors family trauma stops him treating me and to get an appointment is a joke the reception staff have no manners what so ever

To be honest jt is half an hour away from my house therefore i have to plan ahead and then reach kn time as it is very had to get refferal appointments

Worst doctors I’ve ever been to. No empathy or understanding from reception. Can’t get an appointment without turning up and causing a scene. Spent hours of my life calling to get no one. Everyone tarred with same brush
