Arrived in A&E today 05/06/23.
It was really busy , I got seen very quick , sent for an xray and back into A&E straight after and I was seen again within 20 minutes and left with instructions to return. Excellent service by all the staff, always busy always a smile.
Well done Hexham A&E

Hello I would like to thank & give ward 4 & ward 2 huge thanks from myself and family
Last year my mother Vicki Broadhead was in ward 4 and just recently on ward 2 .
The staff on both wards & of every job role .
They go over and above I’m sure what their job description is
A smile ,a kind word , empathy to family & patient alike ,encouragement, sincerity , patience ,
professionalism & the confident air of authority when needed .
Thanks so much .It made me want to work with them ???? as they work so well as a team
Feel so grateful to have Hexham General hospital on our doorstep.????You the staff deserve to be appreciated and for it to shown in your pay packets & working terms and conditions.

Had my mri scan at Hexham hospital, the staff are 100%,overall a very pleasant atmosphere felt comfortable from start to finish, I would like to say thanks to the nurses.

Had to travel from Sunderland for my MRI Scan. I have to say from reception to my introduction to staff. Also my Scan.
I was in so much pain.
However the staff were Brilliant.
Went above and beyond.
As a retired Registered Mental health nurse. I still have the habit of observations from start to finish.
Three major house points and a Gold Star to Hexham General hospital. X

I attended the breast care clinic on December 1st 2022 following a referral from my GP. I just want to pass on my grateful thanks to all the staff in the department. It was a seamless and efficient service and everyone was so friendly. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful hospital.

I have numbness on my arm, fingers. Week hand. Pain on shoulder (Additionally back and hip problem)
I came to discuss possible solutions for my arm and shoulder pain, coz due to pain I’m not fully functional, getting depressed and orthopedic said that there is no treatment existing for my problem and compared it to cancer.
I think if any doctor has not enough knowledge to identify problem- should say it. It’s not a shame. But to make general conclusions - unprofessional.
He said that I just should live with it. Unprofessional.
He had mri of my neck. He checked report but didn’t look at actual mri. Unprofessional.
He didn’t have any scan of my shoulder, elbow to see what’s going there but made conclusion- no treatment can help. Unprofessional.
I was waiting for appointment few month. Waste of time.
Extremely unprofessional.

Wouldnt waste your time going here they are useless , my daughter keeps toppling and nearly passing out she has a 5 month old baby to look after and when i took her to hexham hospital walk in centre she was told to go and see a gp which isnt open until monday i may add because they havent got the resources . Never heard anything so pathetic
