My advice is to NEVER OPEN GET A LOAN OR CREDIT CARD WITH RAK. They are so unprofessional with their approach when trying to solve payment issues and they have an entitled arrogant way of dealing with things making you feel like you don’t deserve to be respected. I have never experienced a bank like this ever!
Also their interest rates are high and they try to cheat you out of a lot.
They file a case against you in an unprofessional way ie the case in a different emirate to that of where you opened your account and via online under a persons name not under the banks name.
I question Everything about this banks ethics and morals. They don’t help make life “simply better” as their slogans say, instead they make it worse.

I had a very bad experience with RAK bank for my auto loan.

Only one of my payments was delayed for only 6 days in 4 years of my monthly installments.
they silently charged me a fine for it and didn't even message or call to tell I had a fine. They just silently kept charging me Interest on the fine.

They didn't even tell me I had a fine even when my loan was fully paid off.
I fine amount with interest has come up to over twice the amount of my monthly installment.

I asked them to review and advise as it was not my fault that I didn't receive the fine message from the bank but they didn't support. I went to the branch and the compliance office and they even couldn't give me the exact fine break up or statement!

I emailed there customer service and they haven't replied since 17 Feb.
I am worried and need the bank to support in this. Highly disappointed at the poor service given by RAK bank to it's long term clients.
This also badly affected my Credit Score. if I had known I would get such service 5 years ago, I would have gone with a different bank for my auto loan Even if they offered a higher interest rate.

I had a very bad experience with rakbank if you do have loan make it sure that you are checking coz sometimes they will double the amount supposed to be finish when you're gonna speak with the agent they will say because you're have delayed payment which is not acceptable coz they didn't think that I do have. A record...and same as one customer telling that no one informed that my loan was finished and I'm paying excess money,!!! I ask them regarding this they said there is a charge but when I ask for explaination they said they will not say...mmm something fishy....that's why they will see what they want to know....very BAD BANK Ive ever had

Met Worst ever receptionist(Philipino Lady) in my life. If asked anything so politely would reply in an arrogant way. Being a human being does not know to respect the other people, this shows her nature personally and professionalism. It is awesome to have this type of job where she is paid to disrespect their own customers. Keep it up ????????????????

Extremely Worst experience with RAK Bank.It was my Lifelong mistake that I applied for RAK Credit Card.

Collection Team of RAK think that all credit card holders are defaulters,it is same like someone think all persons staying in hospital are patients.Only unprofessional can think in this way.

I request all the readers to avoid this RAK Bank for any Loan,Credit Card,etc.

RAK Collection Team members are below average in terms of interacting with customers.Full of unprofessional, unethical, mannerless,rudeness,cheating,etc

I already paid auto loan. My account was closed and Thier cheques were pending, I asked them if I change my cheques or pay cash on counter, they said you can pay instalment on cashier, I paid two years instalments by cash, now they told me that if I want clearance than must pay late charges and fine and interest 12200 dhs, now what to do with them..... ????????
