Horrible ethics...they sold a saree for 4,100 only for us to realise that the beads were coming off. When we reached out asking for refund for the saree not once used, they refused suing finance department policies. Have reached out to DED seeking redress. How can such business operate with such low ethics. Feel cheated and worse these guys do it in Dubai which is known for its consumer rights. Shame.

I have been shopping at Regal in Satwa for fabrics for over 15 years now and recently have started using the tailor services, all I can say is that you will not find a better fabric store and tailor service in Dubai then what Regal is and represents. After all these years you still continue to be the best. The staff sincerely care about the customers experience and always offer truthful advice during the fabric selection stage. I can’t thank you enough for being the wonderful people you all are.

Yes, it is more costly. However, the linen is pure, as is the cotton. By which I mean 100%. And it is also long-strand hand-picked cotton. This is the kind of material you will buy to make evening-wear shirts (unless you want to buy expensive material for work shirts too). Neighboring shops are indeed cheaper - but you can expect more like 75-85% purity of materials. 75-85% purity is still good quality, so it just depends what your priority is.

They have have a wider selection than most of their neighbours. This includes a broad selection of high quality linen too, which is highly recommended in the hot temperatures of the UAE.

For me, the customer service was very good.

They have a tailoring service, but I assume they may be a bit more costly than their neighbors, and I can't imagine they are significantly better because they all do basically exactly the same thing (no exceptions): They copy the model-item (an item of clothing you already own that fits you well) that you give them to copy from. Nothing more. Don't expect particularly accurate measuring of your body anywhere in these places, but if you make sure your model-item is already a good fit for you then they will copy it accurately with the material you provide.

For tailoring, I highly recommend Mayfairs (nearby).

I also think 'Fancy cotton' is a charmingly cute label for any fabric (fairly common label in the UAE for upmarket goods).

Overall, good job well done in my opinion.

We had a terrible experience with Regal. Worst experience of my life.They don’t value their customers. Being a regular customer I ordered 3 items and they cancelled my order without even informing me. They did not even bother to inform me. Every time giving different reason. I want this review to reach their owner. Let him come to know how their staff handles the customers.

You can find the most beautiful Fabric there ! And for good value. Regal it’s not that cheap but they are very good quality

They do have a good collection of fabrics… but PLZ DO NOT GET ANYTHING TAILORED from them! We bought pricey suit fabrics & it turned out to be an expensively disastrous experience with the tailoring… they tried “fixing” the measurements they took & it still is a complete mess!
