British and European fine dining experience at its best. Really blown away with all the dishes! Service is impeccable ???? a bit quite but a gr8 place to take the family/in-laws and after work drinks out on their massive terrace!

We had an amazing experience at Rhodes W1 in Dubai. The restaurant has a beautiful decor and a lovely atmosphere, making it the perfect place for a special occasion. The menu was diverse and the food was simply delicious. I particularly enjoyed the lamb chops and the chocolate fondant dessert. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, making great recommendations throughout our meal. The wine selection was also excellent, with a good variety of options to choose from. Although it is a bit pricey, the quality of the food and service definitely make it worth it. Overall, I would highly recommend Rhodes W1 for anyone looking for a fine dining experience in Dubai.

Fantastic Saturday breakfast lunch with first class service, welcoming, stunning casual vibe and the most creative, delicious food we can't recommend highly enough. This British restaurant is an absolute winner and an eaterie you'll be proud to take anyone. Drinks are superb and this is the perfect place for celebrations. Highly recommended! ????????????????????????????????????

Rhodes W1 was a joy. Unusually empty when we went but the food was excellent. Highlights were the white tomato soup complimentary appetiser and the sticky toffee soufflé but all the food was outstanding. The waitress we had was also very attentive.
If the restaurant want a Michelin star one day they just need to provide some of those additional touches but no complaints.

The food her was just amazing. I actually wasn't expecting it to be so good. We came for lunch and came back to celebrate New Years Eve on the outdoor terrace. The views were phenomenal. Best Birthday/ New Years Eve. The staff was on point as well. They really gave us VIP service and I can't Thank the Managers and staff (Ramm) enough for making the day so special. We will definitely be bk on our next visit to Dubai!!

I will most probably never say no to a Tea Time invitation; it is one of my most enjoyable experiences. I love devouring the variety of savory and sweet items, and drinking some good tea lazily for a couple of hours. We had reserved for Afternoon Tea at Rhodes W1 (one of Michelin-starred chef Gary Rhodes’ restaurants), and arriving at that beautiful brightly colored entrance told me we were in for a great time. When we were seated at our table, we were offered a fresh welcome drink. I admired the interior splattered with the color of sunshine until the waiter provided us with the menu. The edible items were listed, but we had a choice of the beverage we would sip alongside them. I am a fan of black tea, so decided on the Assam tea and I was pleasantly surprised when it was served with some milk —very scrumptiously British. Enter salty snacks…Biting into the sandwiches was like you were sinking your teeth into clouds; the bread was so fresh and fluffy. The famous cucumber sandwiches were there, and so was the salmon among other various selections, such as quail’s egg mayonnaise, coronation chicken, cheese, and tomato —everything was delicious. Now, it was time for the sweet bites. Of course there were scones! For me they are the highlight of the array of desserts (is it weird that I like my scones plain?). Also placed delicately on display were chocolate cakes, carrot cakes, crumpets, lemon cakes, profiteroles, and dundee cakes. The icing on the lemon cake elevated its taste, and the carrot cake with its cream topping was very good. My favorite, apart from the scones, was the chocolate muffin, which was so soft and decadently rich. To top it all off, the service was great. The waiter was professional with an appropriate sense of humor that kept everything light and pleasant. I absolutely adored having tea at Rhodes W1 and would definitely recommend their Afternoon Tea break.

I am genuinely begrudged to give Rhodes W1 3 stars, I've visited twice before my visit today and it is outstanding. It's probably one of my favourite restaurants in Dubai and I recommend it all of the time. However, I have recently decided to be vegetarian and I'm disappointed to find only one dish on the entire Saturday menu that I could eat, if you don't like mushroom risotto, don't bother. If you're vegan, I'd call to check first because I'd be surprised to find something suitable for you there.

It's such a shame because so many other venues serve a vegetarian roast dinner, but I always choose Rhodes for the food standard, service and setting, it's an all-rounder. If you do eat meat you absolutely won't be disappointed but I feel like Rhodes really need to step up their game when it comes to catering for other requirements!

Only there for a funeral but nice bar, friendly staff, good parking. Electric buggies for the golfers. Nice area

I haven’t played here for several years, but was very happy to see the work that’s been done on the course. It “looks well” with tree lined fairways and ponds and the greens were in great shape. Obviously the fairways were pretty bare in places, but we are in near drought conditions in the South East of England. Generally very happy with the course. They’ve done a lot of work on the patio and clubhouse, so plenty of room to sit and enjoy a spot of lunch. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking for a relaxed 9 or 18 holes of golf in East Sussex.

Took my 10 year for 9 holes mid week
The chap in the pro shop was very friendly and informative, as they had just sanded the greens. Nice course even better when I played in the summer.
Worth a visit.

Honestly probably one of the worst kept courses I have seen in a long time and I know that it is winter but for £15 a round it was the biggest joke. They should either close the course or give discounted prices because I would never pay £15 for what I played today. The greens were patchy and had grass missing and were also long, the fairways was like playing in the rough.

Absolute gem of a course! Always immaculate greens. Lovely staff and welcome atmosphere. Driving range under reconstruction. Expected completion is Jan 2017 so looking forward to seeing the new layout. Found this course last year and have been returning ever since... Even with a 2hr drive to get there!

Invited to a ladies invitation on the 26 of August. From the time I arrived I saw smiling faces which made me feel very welcomed and helpful ladies.
