Amazing Sunday lunch. Delicious and at a reasonable price. Deserts to die for and massive portions. Lovely ales on tap and super friendly staff. An absolute gem of a place! Dogs allowed in the large bar area when the humans are eating. We'll be back.

Clean room although very small and very, very hot. Nice views over surrounding fields but room extremely noisy. We were woken by a party of 6 returning who had clearly had a lot to drink. We could hear everything they said and lots of doors slamming. To be fair, this has nothing to do with the owners or the establishment itself as there is a notice at the bottom of the stairs leading to the rooms which asks if guests are returning late, they should show courtesy to other guests and be mindful that they may be resting. Clearly this party didn't think the notice applied to them. They continued to be very loud at breakfast also.
We had two nights there and the second we got a good night's sleep almost certainly because the noisy guests had left.
The pub is situated along a very narrow lane and we saw several cars having to reverse up to passing places. The pub itself though has a very ample and spacious car park.
We had a wonderful evening meal here and breakfast both mornings was delicious. The Swannington sausage being very flavoursome. The owner was very gracious and very friendly, chatting away to us about the area and the history of the pub.

Stopped for meal on a Friday evening.
Place was lovely with a nice atmosphere and the staff were very good.
Food was very good, steak & stilton salad + a chicken meal were our order. Quality food, well cooked and excellent flavours, impressed.
Staff hit the balance between being attentive enough for us to feel cared for but they left us alone when we were deep in couples stuff!
Very very good, will return with friends.

I was one of a party of 14 for lunch. Service was excellent, all drinks and food delivered in a very reasonable timeframe, restaurant was busy, staff were friendly and helpful. I have severe allergies and the team - especially Luke, made the whole experience completely hassle free, was given detailed information about their process to avoid any issues. Food was absolutely lovely. Will return soon.

What a gorgeous place. My husband and I returned here after visiting for the first time last year. It is now our "home away from home" in Norfolk and we would change our dates around being able to stay here. Alyson and the team are so accommodating and friendly without being overbearing. Clean, comfortable rooms, Gorgeous food for every single meal, great drinks and lovely environment. Can't recommend enough!

A little problem over dinner was quickly resolved by professional staff.......a very busy restaurant can mean some waiting.......super breakfast.

Ate food at pub only. Always delicious and very well cooked. The battery on the kids chicken goujons is superb as are the onion rings. I had mussels and they were excellent. Great service and staff were good with our child and our dog.

Third or fourth time eating here now, and feel it is finally time to leave a review… and a glowing one at that! They could not have improved on a single thing for us. Truly excellent food, served by happy friendly, helpful staff who accommodated our ever my need (three with strict dietary requirements include one allergy). Happy to adjust dishes to suit and none of the usual “that’s just how it comes” that we get at so many places. This will now be our one and only place to eat when visiting family in this area. Well done “team Parson Woodforde”!!
