Horrendous customer service.(not alI staff)
I recently used 24 hour pay at pump, unfortunately it was was faulty and stopped delivery fuel after £2. Another customer being effected also .
All the pumps basically stopped and were unresponsive .I tried to explain to the staff member ,whom was clearly more interested in getting home than being helpful and refused to talk ,only shout through the glass. I explained to that the pumps had stopped suddenly to which he repeatedly yelled through the closed window that it was pay at the pump not at the counter. Due to his shockingly rude and agressive reaction ,he was unable to take in that this was not the problem..
I then resorted to the unusual behaviour of telling the guy exactly what I thought of him.
Only then did he realise the error of his behaviour and came out and apologised for not listening.
Hopefully this will now encourage a better response to any issues customers may have using there services.
But judging by the owners childish responses to other complaints I very much doubt it .
Better to fuel up just beyond north ballachulish.
I'm sure it'll be a simpler and more pleasant experience..

Staff were incredibly rude to my partner on Saturday afternoon..

Then in the evening shut more than half an hour early, which I’d understand in cases of personal emergency. However staff still within, refused to serve us and told tourists there was no where else open when there is a co-op 2 minutes down the road.

Would have given 0 stars if option available.

GULF fuel station - Price here is cheaper than those big companies.

Update July 2023: Price is not cheaper now, pretty much the same as others

My 15 year old son who is socially awkward and has a stutter has just called in and been made fun of by a member of staff, was asked if he wanted a bag and another member of staff behind him said “it’s like talking to a brick wall” and when he did manage to answer the person said to the woman behind the counter “don’t give him a bag” disgusting behaviour from adults to a child who was very upset

Stopped to fill up and grab a few essentials. Everything I needed and the lady working in the shop couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly.

Folks on holiday seem to forget that not everyone shares your enthusiasm for working in a petrol station serving often demanding tourists.

I bought a tool here, but wasn’t given a receipt.
I saw the young man who served me, and he remembered me.
When I told him that it had broken, he wanted to know where. After I had told him the problem, he then said, Do you have your receipt, knowing that he didn’t offer me one!
The tool was only £4, and he had more on the shelf, but he wasn’t going to exchange it!
Very arrogant attitude, but it’s the only petrol station in the area, so it’s a captive audience!

Stopped here today as I regularly do. Didn’t need fuel but after driving all day wanted something to eat and drink. I entered the shop and decided before I bought my bits and pieces I would go to the toilet. I headed to the toilet door and found it engaged, so decided to look at the tools whilst waiting. Within 10seconds I was approached by a male member of staff and asked If I was buying anything. I said yes I would be. He then gestured to me to look out the window and pointed down the road, I looked puzzled. The public toilets are down there these are for customers. I said I had come in to buy something to eat and drink but had decided to go to the toilet first did he expect me to buy my stuff and take it to the toilet with me!. He opened the door and told me to get out. I asked if he owned the shop he said no but a voice from behind me said she did. She explained people were coming in and using the toilet. Wow. Big deal. It’s March surely anyone through the door is a bonus.

There are ways to deal with things but today was not one of them. What a disgraceful way to treat your customers. Your staff member is a pathetic individual with one big chip on his shoulder. You’ve actually got a great shop that’s why I stop there or we’ll did. Bye Bye!

Stopped here 2 weeks ago to buy a Saturday Guardian with my subscription voucher, which I have been doing for 3 years all over the UK and Ireland without any problem. The woman behind the counter just said "We don't accept newspaper vouchers." When I explained the above she just said, "We don't accept them. Never have, never will." I left without my newspaper (easily bought in Co-op a few miles away later that day). Rude and unhelpful.
