First time eating Iraqi food. It was a really nice Iraqi restaurant. Lentil soup is for free and you get bread as much as you want.
Best hummus I’ve ever eaten. We were three girls, couldn’t eat everything because the portions were really big.
We had hummus, caesar salad, tabbouleh, shish kebap and kebab. Great food and great locatipn. Would recommend.

This is my first visit to Samad Al Iraqi and won’t be the last for sure. We really liked the overall atmosphere of the place as well as the delicious food, attentive friendly staff, the fast service and the reasonable prices comparing to the quality and quantity of the food. would recommend it to all

Great place to have iraqi dolma and qozy lamb ????. Off course dont forget the iraqi kebab and the shish tawook with the cold mezza and fatoosh great appetizers. 10/10 service. The tea boy is the best. Don’t forget the dessert kunafa cheese with loomy tea and iraqi tea ????????

Good food and atmosphere, but music volume was kind of high.

Good dolma, homous, kebab iraqi and gozi. Also, they serve excellent tea

First of all, Exploitation is obvious, I already came and pay and have no problem with the price! But I didn’t like their attitude the moment we sit they serve us prior ordering! And I asked 2 of them and they said it is a compliment!!!! Then they made us pay for it!
Which doesn’t make any sense!!!!
Any how, the view, bread and shsitakuk good, the hummus with meat WAS VERY SALTY!,

Beautiful restaurant, beautiful window view.

The soup was really good.

Food portion is huge.

The fish contains bones, like, small bones. Not recommend for kids.

Service is ok. 2pm seems like their lunch peak time. Waiters deliver water slow.

An overall pleasant experience and first time trying Iraqi cuisine. Many of the items on the menu are similar to that of Lebanaese or Levant cuisine. However, there are some more specific dishes and grills that are labeled "Iraqi" on the menu, and those are what I would recommend trying for something a bit different.

The food was excellent, professionally prepared, and delivered in a timely fashion. We were offered a welcome free plate of pickles, bread, and lentil soup , hich were great, as well as a cup of tea at the end. The salad was delightfully goodbwith some strips of crunchy fried eggplant and pomegranate molases based vinegrette, the Iraqi style kubba tasted perfect with a tasty filling and crunchy exterior, and the rice with slow cooked braised lamb shoulder hand with the under-rice bread peaces soaked in the black lemon infused tomato sauce, very pleasing.

The overall service was not to the level of refinement expected, and the indoor dining area, although nicely decorated, was too loud and rowdy from patrons and staff alike. The prices are compatative when considering the location and quality.

The location is great with a direct view of the water/laser show at Burj Khalifa. We read good reviews and thought maybe the food would be fine and the place not quite the tourist trap despite the location. However, the food is only alright/palatable. The best thing was the free lentil soup that was served in the beginning, and perhaps being able to say "we had some Iraqi food". Based on what our small group ordered, it seems like a heartier, but less flavorful and less intricately spiced version of Persian or Lebanese cuisine. Price was okay and so were the portions.
