I love the serenity of this beach, specially in the morning High Tide and soothing wave sound is mind blowing, it’s a Clean and clear beach.

I haven't been to this beach for years. Returning back i have seen the immense amount of work that has been put into place.
Fantastic parking
Loads of bins
Clean beach
Safe neighbourhood
Free parking on the road after 2pm
Also no more bbq's was great as we were no longer being suffocated by all the smoke and smells.
Great toilets
Easy to get to

Over great beach for the family.

There is no accessibility to get down to the beach, they have two wheelchair/disabled toilets at one end of the beach. Not the other end. It has tarmac all the way down the beach allowing easy access if you are in a wheelchair. Nice place to watch a sunset and a good food van at the other end of the beach. They are currently building a cafe at the top end. The gates close at 9p.m. and there is a small play area with climbing frame at one end of the beach.

Nothing there! 1 big rock with graffiti all over it, 2 new cafes that won't last 5 minutes . Most people bring their own nowadays as cafes along seafront are always expensive. I guarantee these cafes will last 1 season. People just can't afford the ridiculous prices these so called child friendly cafes charge. I went along southend seafront 2 weeks ago and had to pay £1.80 for a can of coke. Not for me. Why do we have to pay to park. You come for a nice day out and have to worry about feeding the meter too. Southend council at its best. I thought the council where trying to encourage people to come to our town. I remember the airshow . The traffic wardens where out in their biggest show ever and u know if I had got a ticket that day I wouldn't be coming back to the next airshow. That should be a free day

Lovely stretch for a walk in the fine weather. You can only go so far because of the MOD site but very pleasant nonetheless.. no café today (late January) ...cuppa was sorely missed ????

Very popular with kite surfers at weekends. Large fields suitable for families and picnicking, cyclists and joggers.

There is a small beach area but the the tide goes out quite far exposing mud.

Just moored offshore is a well known landmark known locally as "The Rasta Boat".

Lovely beach. 13.8.2022 there was an event about Jamaican independence and Southend's City Status celebration. It was very colourful. The food, music and funfair activities for the children was amazing. I had fun later cooling off in the salty water????.

OK but not a nice beach, mostly pebbles.
