Shahzada General Trading Llc

This shop has 2 branches. One is a clothing store and one is a phone store. The phone store says shahzada general trading LLC in small letters and Pro Max in big letters. The phone store is near Sabkha Station in Florida Alsouk/ flora hotel building. This review is for the phone store. The manager is Mr. Karim.

They will cheat you plain and simple. I bought an S10+ from them supposedly new and genuine. The guy had to run out and buy it from naif market and brought it for me. I opened it in at the store and confirmed it was genuine. Went to the hotel and inspected further and realised it was a used/ refurbished phone.

I went back and at first they tried to argue with me saying it's real but it was obviously used. Scratches all over. In the end he admitted it and got me a new phone.

But he also charged extra as "tax" and said I can get a refund at the airport. To get a tax refund in Dubai you need a QR code. The shop has to be registered for tax free shipping and then they will be able to provide the QR code. But this shop cannot provide this and if they say you can get a tax refund they are lying. They will pocket it and you won't find out until you are at the airport. That's what happened to me.

I am planning on reporting them to the relevant authorities as well. Avoid these scammers at all costs.
