I had been a daily consumer in Shaklan Rigga and I can say prices are just and products are good. I wouldn't last my day visiting this market as I daily buy fresh food to cook. I just have few comments about the "customer service". The guys wearing white standing next to the cashiers are very welcoming they will also greet you with a smile and always have answers if in case you need to look for a certain products etc...The fish section were also welcoming and accommodating, they really know what they are doing and will serve you with a smile. Good Job guys. What lacks customer service are the cashiers, especially those who are on shift last night 09/01/23, around 6PM to 7PM gulf time. For some urgent reasons, I need to change my 100AED bill for a lower denominations, the cashier at the back since I had paid with credit card said "I don't have cash go to the front" this is with a negative vibe, though I had bought something, then close the counter immediately, so I was thinking he was just having a bad day then I decided to go at the front cashier, the guy said "I can't change your bill so it's either you purchase something to open the counter, I said ok, so I had purchased and paid using credit card to open the counter as I had seen that there are a lot of lower cash denominations, then he said "NO it's either you pay cash or card but I will not allow to change your bill" I really don't know as to why, or they might have a policy not to change bill from the counter EVEN IF ITS THEIR VALUED CUSTOMER. Anyways, hope this is a good feedback. Customer return not just for products, items or a lower price; but it's the "experience & interaction from the people make the whole journey complete". SMILE is something that you give it away as it will go back to you".... By the way, not all their cashiers are the same as there is one who is exceptional as I see him cater the "best" customer service at the mentioned store.

I found many things cheaper in here than other shops just next to it ,very tidy and very helpful staff

I purchased 1 Raj Kitchen Non Stick Pan Set (119 Aed) just 2 days before. When they sell it they said if there is any issue than i can return it. The pan was so sticky, colour damage, also the cover has size issue. Today i went there to return & I wanted to purchased the expensive one(179 AED). but they didn't changed the product only because of The Box of that kitchen ware . I have the invoice with me. When i asked to talk with the manager, sales man named Mr. Rafiq was telling me that he is the owner. Its really disappointed as i m a regular customer of Shaklan. Who take the large paper box when any one purchased things???I need to aware everyone so that shaklan people never do this type of thing.
