This person betrayed me! Don’t buy here! Or if make sure he will charge you the RIGHT amount on your card and make sure to let you hand out the credit card slip!! (with the RIGHT amount)Which he never gave me otherwise I would have been able to see right away that he tricked me!

Here is my story:
I went to his store in the end of January.
Here is a list of things I bought:
•a few vanilla beans
•a bit of Safran (grade 3 which he stated is the cheapest)
• a small bag with Arabic green tea
• a small bag of Arabic black tea
He said it comes to a total of
165,- AED
Which equals about 40,-€
I wanted to pay cash, but he said right away it’s not enough.
I said ok and gave him my card.
He did put it in the machine with the right amount of 165,-AED and asked me to put in me pin which I did.
It was definitely 165,-AED otherwise I would not have given the PIN.
Shortly after he gave me another slip he printed out to get my signature.
He added to the 165,- another 5
So from 165,- ——u003e1655,- and from originally almost 40,-€ he charged me now 398,73(almost 400,-€)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately I did not see that on the slip he gave me for my signature and he did not give me a copy of the slip right away and I trusted him that he put it in my shopping bag.
After everything was done he gave me so much chocolate as a gift of the house to play along which unfortunately I did not get right away, but which makes totally sense now.
Eventually I checked my shopping bag when I was back at my hotel only to find out that he did not give me my receipt.
Which I already did not have a good feeling about since I am a really diligent person.
I was on a business trip to Dubai and that was my last gift shopping before going home otherwise I would have went back to the store to get my receipt.
Only a few days after going home I checked my credit card account to find out the fault.
DON‘T be as trustful as I was.
This incident spoils my whole Dubai experience.
And I am really disappointed about my experience.
I am in contact with my bank to solve the situation and will definitely reveal this to the Dubai authorities\Police once I am back in Dubai for a visit!

Don‘t be a foul and trust you gut instincts!!!!
And don’t be ashamed to share your experience it can only help others to not repeat them.
