Great company to deal with. A great selection of cottages and very personalised service. I have been booking through Island Cottage Holidays for many years and can't praise them highly enough. They are able to offer help for you to choose the right holiday cottage. It seems that every cottage has been visited so you are able to speak to someone who can tell you exactly what it is like. I will certainly use their services should I have a place to let in future.

We had a week at Park Lodge Ventnor, Isle of Wight. The booking process was easy. The cottage was brilliant, plenty of room and lots of character. It was situated in the Park - which had lovely gardens and a shallow stream with fish and ducks. The coastal path was on the doorstep. Scenic walks could be taken to local beaches. The kids had a great time. We'd happily go again.

Very bad experience with this place, booked a cottage through them that had a few issues one of which was an alarm going of through the night from 9pm to 9am the next morning every 10minutes. Cottage in middle of nowhere with no signal or landline. Asked for one days compensation as didn't get any sleep with our two children and currently heavily pregnant. Said they'd speak to owner never got back to us apart from to tell us they were keeping our deposit of £350 because we left the place untidy, a few pictures followed of some dishes and some blankets on the floor. I asked the manager of the office a lady called Christine if they expected us to clean the house thoroughly when we left and she said no but we should have washed the dishes I assumed there cleaners would put these in the dishwasher obviously not. And obviously this has cost us £350! I have never been treated so disrespectfully by any company before avoid this place at all costs.

We have used Island Cottage Holidays on numerous occasions, each time being very impressed by the standard of the cottages and the service they provide. We would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

We stayed in the wonderful November Cottage on the Isle of Wight and had a fabulous time. Both the cottage itself and the service we received from Island Cottage Holidays was exceptional. We would recommend them highly.

Had the misfortune of booking through this company, spoke to Christine (office manager) regarding a cancellation due to the passing of my father 1 day before he was due to stay in one of the cottages, her lack of any real human emotion, and downright rudeness/lack of response and in the end I have still lost over 40% of my total cost due to 'Admin costs' horrendous woman, shoddy company. Beautiful Cottages with great views. Will recommend to any one that loves being away from a busy town.
