Visited Eastbourne and found a sea front excellent view hotel without paying hundreds. Simple room, plainly decorated, couple of issue but not hygiene, but what a view, see the picture, all from room 32.
All staff were welcoming but Rocky went up and beyond, checking we had good view before booking and offering room service, nothing seemed to much.
Had two breakfast and one dinner there, all was good, only issue was my eggs at dinner were not runny, shame.
Good location, short walk to Pier which has free live music daily, Bandstand and both theatres, The Congress is about 25 minute walk, along the sea front.
Look out for the full moon, was beautiful.
Lots to do will visit again.

You get what you pay for and this is cheap and comfortable. The only real issue with the room was the shower, very low pressure and almost impossible to regulate the temperature. I didn't eat here so I can't comment on that but I did enjoy having a couple of beers in the conservatory bit at the front. Very relaxing vibe. Definitely use it again

We stayed in the executive room for one night. Classical decoration, great view by the seaside, and very warm host. Would consider come back again if visiting Eastbourne for another time!

Just a reminder that we can hear some noise from the boiler next door, hope this can be fixed soon!

It more than met are expectations. Staff were lovely. We had an issue with first room regarding shower but was given another room the same day. Couldn't fault it.
Room was lovely and big, clean and a nice big telly.

We have just returned from this hotel.The staff (even though they were short staffed) couldn't do enough for you. Sarah and her team were excellent, Rocky you are a legend as were your cocktails. We stayed in room 34, only complaint was the shower head was faulty and the porridge at breakfast was luke warm the both times I had it. Glenn (manager)and Carrie (puppy) were really funny. The decor was beautiful I loved the chandeliers. We had a great time at this hotel and won't hesitate in going back.

Having just returned from a 5 day coach holiday,the room was spotless but in my opinion not a double but large single we were in room 22 right next to toilet n reception not too bad but a tad small for 2,when we arrived there was no mirror in within 30 mins of reporting to reception i had one,so well done on that

We booked the event room for a surprise 70th Birthday party. Every single person who attended ( about 50) said the whole night was amazing. The room was perfect in size for us. It kept us all together, rather than splitting us into lots of little groups, which meant it kept us all mingling and enjoying everybody's company creating a good party atmosphere all night. Buffet was simply outstanding, so many different types of foods. We are not talking mini sausage rolls and vaulavons, but an all out choice of many, many snacks, sandwiches, cheese boards, fruit, cakes, seafood, and so much more, plus hot food, and well catered for allergies too, including coeliacs, vegetarians and vegans, which is no easy task on a buffet. the dj absolutely rocked all night, keeping us on the dance floor, and open to requests. Bar staff were truly delightful, and gave everybody the most excellent service all night. We respected the beautiful wallpaper and put helium balloons on the tables, and a banner on the buffet table, which was enough to create a good party room vibe. Just about every guest told me how great the room looked, with its funky floor and unique wallpaper, and how well it was all run. Absolutely no complaints at all from anybody, so that is commendable towards all the staff involved. And my upmost respect goes to Glen for making sure everybody was well looked after and catered for, now matter what was needed. Words cannot express enough, how much we enjoyed the night and we have the upmost appreciation for for all the staff involved. Job very well done.
I highly recommend the East Beach Hotel, and will be definately returning in the future.

With so many hotels on the sea front in Eastbourne i imagine it’s difficult to stand out, I’ve stayed at many hotels in Eastbourne and by far this is my favourite, very clean, beautiful bar area and dining room very classy! And the staff have a great sense of humour as well as offering the best service available this hotel most certainly peaks above the rest here. Well done East Beach Hotel and thank you for such a pleasant stay.
