Wonderful, open, wide scenic beach. There are few amenities on the beach/promenade its self in contrast to more touristy spots but the town is just behind.
Promenade is flat, easily accessible for those needing it from plentiful free onstreet parking and goes for miles.
Beach is pebbly but platforms have been put out allowing accessible entry to be on the beach.
Toilets up by the martello tower and over the orad by the park and cafe at the zebra crossing midway down the beach.

This was unplanned visit as it was between Brighton and Eastbourne beach. This place was quite good. Not overcrowded and plenty of free street car parking. I only spent about 30mins here as it was on the way and I stopped. Not noticed many shops around this beach but city Center wasn’t far.

We often go to Seaford for a walk along the fantastic promenade, find a seat up the hill at the end for a snack, and enjoy the stunning views back towards Newhaven. The promenade is long, wide and level, (like you find in Spain!), and is dotted with occasional cafés and little shack-shops selling interesting things, great for walking, children,( and adults), on bikes, scooters or skates and babies in buggies and wheelchairs too. There are plenty of seats all along the way to take in the seaview or take a breather.
Last time, on the walk back, we sidetracked into town following the seagull plaques set into the promenade for a wander around the streets and shops and chanced upon a wonderful cafe/restaurant called Lanes where we were tempted by, and succumbed to, far more delicious things than our original pop-in-for-a-coffee intention......well worth seeking out.
We found our way back to the promenade and continued our walk back to the car.
This is another reason we go: the parking is FREE and there's simply loads of it! A coastal rarity indeed.
On the way home, a stop-off at Paradise Park on the outskirts of Seaford is an option, a vast and amazing shopping/garden centre, great restaurant and children's attractions too.
Enjoy the drive too, beautiful South Downs scenery.
To sum up, a truly lovely day out for everyone of all ages.

Clean, peaceful, beautiful beach, nature at its best. Pebbles with occasional sand depending on law tide. No shower facilities, but toilets are available within reasonable distance. Plenty of ice cream and snacks sellers are also present.

Seafood Beach has many happy memories for us. We used to take out our friend Catherine from the old folks home to the Beach where just after the war she met her true love. She passed away earlier this year so now we go there to remember her.

Great sea front and clean. Lots of area and several miles of seafront.

This beach is always nicer after a storm. Today the sea was a bit rough and the little sand we have was being blown away by a strong wind.

Free parking which is rare and nice. Plenty of it. Also public toilets which is nice. The sea had tons of jelly fish in it and I nearly got sucked out to sea on my paddle board but other than that it's good
