‘Karađorđeva šnicla’ all the way fellows!

I’ve heard about such dish from a friend. Finally, I tried it!

Heavy dinner with all expectations met. Hvala!

Place is quite cozy and reminds me of few home-like places back in the northeast of Brazil.

*Curiosity about this dish for those history lovers:

“The dish is a modern invention, created by chef Mića Stojanović in 1959 who, when he needed to prepare Chicken Kiev for a distinguished visitor from the Soviet Union, was faced with lack of poultry. He used veal instead of chicken. However, not fully satisfied with the result, he poured tartar sauce over it, and decorated it with a slice of lemon and pieces of tomato, which at the end resembled the medal of the Order of the Star of Karađorđe, and thus the steak was named.”

But if you’re not into history. You surely are not going to regret trying it.

Definitely recommend this place!! Food is sooo good! Great portions, good value for money, freshly made food, all dishes taste amazing and it feels like your grandma has just cooked them for you (as if it was homemade ❤️)!

Absolutely delicious, home cooked feel, soulful food!
Enjoyed the pies - borek, the Sarma, the Proja, bell peppers salad and the vanillici cookies!!
Must visit for authentic Balkan - Serbian style food!
Can’t wait to go back to try other dishes!!

Great hospitality, perfect spot for everyone who likes Balkan cuisine. My top recommendations are definitely Burek (Crispy flaked pastry, filled with cheese) and Chocolate Cherry pancakes!

Local park, quite big and nice. I am going there with my dog every day, there is a nice community.
Unfortunately, a lot of troglodytes too, littering and smoking weed.

During the evening, it's REALLY dark. A few lights would really help

I walk in this park in every day and it can be really relaxing plan now at this time when all the daffodils are bloomed.

A nice walk that was maintained well. It is a shame that it has hoarding boards on one side of the park currently so you cannot see the river. I walked my dog there but did not feel safe enough to let her walk without lead as the park is right next to a busy road.

Nice long garden, you can come with kids amd family for picnic. Also a good place for playing with your pets or practising cricket or football.

It's a large open garden with great views. Perfect for sunny days for kids to play, run, cycle as well as for adults to sun bathe, exercise, do some group activities. It's been a boom during this pandemic for getting some fresh air and relaxing.

A great place for the residents of Greenwich peninsula to wind down with family and friends. Easily accessible from underground and residences. Tesco and Co-Op are on either sides of the park along with a traditional English pub.- The Pilot. There are no public toilets except for the pub and barbeques are not allowed.
