We visited the Deira souk and crossed over with an Abra. It was 1 dirham to cross or you can pay 60 dirhams which includes a 30 Min ride on the creek. We opted just for the crossing. In the souk there is the spice Souk,gold Souk,herb Souk ,utensil Souk to name a few. We were there early at about 10am and glad we did as it looked to get busy with larger tourist groups. We also walked around the old museum area but because it was still early a lot of seemed to still be closed. Some of the museum's you have to pay for but it's about 25 dirhams so not too bad. Parking was also free. Overall,it was a nice trip and something different to do.

Interesting old world market with interactions between East, West and North and south. You could imagine this during the old silk road hundreds of years ago. Bustling lively international gould market. Cannot comment on prices as I just went to feast my eyes
