Same story happened to us too: they wait until first minute of expiry and fine you immediately with £100 charge. Avoid this car park! There are better and cheaper car parks.
Plus the guy operating the premises JJ is very rude and aggressive. Avoid at all cost!

Car park only has coin operated pay machines. There is an old shack next to them with an attendant who will give you coins for card payments, but gave me £1 less than I was charged for. This resulted in 2 hours instead of the 3 hours I thought I had, and a parking ticket so check the amount they give you! Appeal was rejected despite screenshot of the bank charge, but reduced to £30 instead of £100!
