Went to A&E twice this weekend due to having a horrible ear infection in both ears. The pain was excruciating, I couldn't eat and so I thought I'd better get checked out. My first visit was great, no complaints. I got seen fairly quickly, the doctor said I had mastoditis, prescribed antibiotics and told me to come back if it gets worse. It got a lot worse on Sunday so I came back, I could barely function.The receptionist was very empathic and made sure I'd get seen straight away. The head nurse was very dismissive however, made me feel unwelcomed and told my pregnant friend who accompanied me to get out of her way. The other nurse shoved the thermometer into my ear that made me squeek in pain as my ears were in so much pain already. They then sent me to minors where I was made to wait for 2.5h to get seen my the doctor. The doctor was also very dismissive and basically told me that I had external ear infection (a different infection to what the previous doctor said) and that I had no business being in the A&E. He told me to just keep using the antibiotics and hope it'll go away. I wasted hours of my time, I was treated like an imposter and I left in more pain than I was in when I arrived. Disappointing.

Amazing!! I had the worst panic attack of my life I thought Iwas dying, my legs went so weak I could hardly walk. They seen to me after about an hour, done all my vitals, blood test as a precaution & results and gave me meds to calm me down. Every single doctor and nurse was so lovely and really helped calm me down!! Couldn't of asked for better or nicer staff. Thank you so much! I won't have a bad word said against the NHS. They work their socks off!

Mum was very poorly with pneumonia. Thank you to all of the staff who were amazing! They all made sure we were supported throughout the day. Always there when we needed them.

RUDE STAFF! I feel descriminated!!! I was waiting 12 hours and the people witch comes after me was served before me!!! I feel the rasism on these, the doctors was really nice but the staff before was just racist!!!

Never had any issue with a and e,not soo long ago a ambulance pulled up and a women jumped out and said hang on a minute just having a cigarette befor I go in.2 lads just waiting for her to finish cigarette.

Ambulance brought my unwell dad to the hospital. Been 17 hours still nothing been done to help him. Nurses apologising “because it’s choker” but having time to go in groups to the empty room and have fun conversations about New Year’s Eve parties etc… what a joke!

Went to A & E with and for my husband, in and out within 3 hours, could not have been dealt with more compassionately by all staff, thank you so much.
