Early May Bank Holiday we took a walk round the grounds of Bramhall Hall with our dog. In a nut-shell, it is beautiful. The Hall was closed (it is only open a few days of the week, so check before you leave). We walked through natural grottos of nature. Pathways alongside the river, babbling brooks, Iris lined ponds, beautiful paddocks, over bridges, to lovely gardens. There are plenty of benches to take a rest along the way. The spectacular Elizabethan Hall sits high on a hill. This spectacular black and white building was a sight to behold. There is a Cafe serving the usual coffee, cold drinks and light meals for those who want to spend longer than we did but, we paid for 1 hour on the car park (via RingGo) and thoroughly enjoyed our walk. Everything is well tended, from pathways to steps to beautiful gardens. It is well worth a visit. Next time I would like to go in the hall for a tour as it is over 50 years since I was last in the Hall.

An Easter visit. Didn’t go in the hall as we had the dog with us. The park was very busy but we enjoyed a walk around the lakes and the gardens. Stopped for teas and Danish pastries afterwards, very enjoyable.

I've left my review for bramhall hall on the appropriate page, this is just about the park lands. You can visit the park for free, you only pay to go into the house which is well worth it. The park has a great little playground aimed at kids around 10 and under. Theres ample picturesque spots for picnics with lots if picnic benches around too. Theres a duck pond, which at the moment (may/june) is thriving with baby ducklings, you can purchase duck food at the visitors center for £1 a bag as they would like you not to feed them bread, not that that stopped anyone but the ducks go mad for the duck food! There are toilets at the visitors center. Ice cream is £2 a pot in the visitors center or £2.95 for a single cone in the cafe.
Parking can be a nightmare, spaces are limited and it tends to be very busy at weekends.

One of the main attractions in Bramhall Park is Bramall Hall, a magnificent Tudor manor house situated within the park grounds. Bramall Hall dates back to the 14th century and is known for its stunning architecture, beautiful gardens, and rich history.

I love this park. I go there often. Lots to see. The paths are good. The ducks are very pretty. The stream is lovely. The cafe is nice. A bit pricey in my opinion but it always seems busy enough with a lovely garden that is made child friendly from what I can see. Toilets in the cafe block. You have to pay to visit Bramhall Hall but it is a great place to look around and a stunning building if you just want to roam around outside.

Such a beautiful building. The history is great and staff were so helpful when we were unsure of where to start/go. Great experience.
The surrounding grounds are beautiful also. Great day out!

Cafe and outdoor seating area were fabulous for a lovely sunny day. Coffee was really nice too. Great scenic park for a good walk and not too busy which was perfect for us. Defo recommend a visit, but parking quite limited. There's a 'small car park' when you first drive in which was full, but even the 'large car park' was pretty small.

Amazing park within Bramhall !!!
Very suitable for kids with playground and food shops.
What to expect:
1. Pond and ducks, birds and squirrels
2. Forrest for trekking
3. Rapids that improves the sound of the place
4. Playground
