This little theatre is an absolute hidden gem!
It doesn't look like much from the outside, you think you're pulling up to any old building (we thought we were in there wrong place) but when you go inside, ???? beautiful!
So much effort has gone into this diamond in the rough that absolutely more people should know about it.
The beverage counter was very reasonably priced (for a theatre, in Manchester), we got a chai tea and coke for for just over £5! They had a good selection of soft drinks, teas, coffee, and alcohol along with a good variety of snacks (olives in a can!)
We attended for a child's drama workshop, run by Hope Mill staff. The lady who ran it (I'm really sorry, I can't remember her name!) She was amazing. Our child has additional needs and catering to him, whilst also running a group was very impressive. The performance they put on was excellent.
The upcoming shows looked very good.
All in all, an absolutely brilliant place to visit!!

My first time here, to see the play Animal..

A wonderful experience in a fantastic theatre. It's clear at every bit of the building the love, care and attention that's gone into it. The bar/cafe area is warm and welcoming and the productions they host are great.

Thank you to those involved with it and if you're interested in independent theatre and spaces, check them out.

Went to see a performance of Grease. The bar area was really beautiful, very fast service and cheap drinks. The theatre itself is about 150-200 people and feels small but that helps you to feel closer to the action

Love this little theatre. Tucked away between Ancoats and Miles Platting it delivers great musical theatre and drama whilst a lot of the time delivering a message around LGBTQ+ culture. Food is great for a pre show meal and whilst small it has a big heart and reputation.Highly recommended for regional shows and premiere's..

Lovely little theatre in New Islington! Friendly vibe and loved the fact it was smaller and you really feel like you’re part of the show! Would definitely recommend for something different to do.

Brilliant place, My Daughter Araya attends the Hope Mill Theatre School,She's just finished her 1st ever stage play, Annie Jr, She played orphan. It was that good my son,now wants to join. Naomi and the rest of the team have made my little girl feel very welcome. Highly recommended ????

The shows are brilliant but the price of food and drink it's really expensive £2 for a normal soze packet of crisp and £2 for a normal size dairy milk and nearly £3 for a packet of sweets we didn't buy anything there due to the price

Want to see Head Over Heels. Good show, great atmosphere, very reasonably priced. Well worth checking out any shows that interest you here.
