Female owner was rude on entry and condescending.
Food portion was incredibly small for the price.
Dry, overcooked.
Very slow service time.
Would prefer to travel to Huby or Easingwold.

Amazing chippy. Chips are second to none, not the usual standard chips you get everywhere. Staff are friendly and helpful. I stopped in the area whilst traveling with my wife and the owner could see we were a bit lost and in need of food. Would highly recommend!

Very disappointing. Chip portions were tiny for the price and the fish was extremely greasy. Staff were unfriendly. Cash only, no cards. Still enforcing strict mask and social distancing policies.

This is the worst chippy in Western Europe, second time this happened ordered food got there haven't even started an hour on, Victorian battle axe on desk so vile and rude deliberately making us late back work
