Good selection of interesting privately owned shops. Parking near these shops is a nightmare. If you are lucky enough to find a parking space its only for 2 hours and there are always wardens on the look out ready to pounce.

I love Leigh road because it is full of shops, quality restaurants (even a first star one) and of course bars.

I am conflicted. I like Leigh Road as it has character. Local businesses still do well here and the road is well cared for.
However, without being conceited, the places here are largely overpriced. These also attract a particular type of crowd.

So, as long as, one is happy to do their own thing and go their own way, Leigh Road is fab! ????

Leigh Road is a brilliant place to visit. Lots of small independent shops with a great range of items to purchase. There is no shortage of coffee shops and restaurants where you can chill out with drink or buy a tasty lunch. Join in with kids clubs, art classes or visit the galleries etc. You will find a very warm welcome from all of the traders. Hope to see you soon.

Leigh road is nice, but a nightmare for parking

Leigh Road has improved recently with more independent shops opening and some lovely cafe's.
