Needed a van to move some equipment, and even tho the original booking was done by mistake in Oldham ???? they managed to get me a van for the day which wan great! Price is good compared to other companies and vans are new and cool which is a bonus! Overall it was a great experience!

I would go someplace else, woman was so rude as soon as I walked in face like thunder, treated like a child. Van was fine but customer service was horrible, I believe it was Nicola, wouldn't recommend at all.

Would just play safe and pay more with another rental company next time.

Hired a van last year to move into a flat and didn't take out the policy to cover (first mistake). All went well with my removal despite getting a bigger van than I had asked for. Nothing going wrong from my view and feeling quite proud when the vehicle was returned as I'm not used to driving vans.

Was met by a member of staff with his arms crossed and a serious look on his face. He condescendingly led me directly to a spot where the van wast dented directly below the van in the middle. I found this a bit unfair as he had to get on hands and knees to point it out to me and we weren't that thorough when we did the initial inspection the day before. I didn't bother having an argument as I knew with the lack of extra cover I was going to lose out. I did however ask for an invoice for the repairs which would let me know how much of my deposit would be lost fixing the dent under the van.

I have since received no invoice or communication that the van was even fixed so I have to assume my £269 deposit has just been pocketed. I'm late to writing this review but I'd recommend going to a bigger renter and just paying a bit more. I'm not beyond admitting that I might have caused the damage unknowingly but the attitude of the staff member paired with my no show invoice makes it feel like standard practice.

Great service. Special Thank you to Dinah who organised a hire car at short notice for us after our car broke down. Dinah even reserved a car for us, in case we needed a hire car for longer than 2 weeks, as we didn't know when ours would be fixed. It was a big piece of mind, knowing we had transport. Thankyou Dinah !!

Helpful and friendly staff who are also quite accommodating. Nice that I can leave my personal car with them securely overnight so it is ready to drive away when I return a hire car the following day. This is the second time recently of hiring a car from Practical whilst I've had visiting parent's between Covid-19 lockdowns and Practical have so far have always gone the extra mile! ????
