at 100dhs a set menu, truly a bargain as food was delicious and perfect for opening your fast.
Portions are a really good size and could definitely share.
We had:
Lentil Soup with bread - lovely, velvety lentil soups with heaps of flavour. LO and I really enjoyed this. Only criticism is that there must be a better way to serve bread rather than in ziploc bags. I guess it was to ensure the freshness of the bread.
Batta Harra - Loved these with a squeeze of lemon. served with a garlic aioli.
Tabbouleh and Fattoush Salad - I'm not a huge tabbouleh fan but found this to be okay. I thought the fattoush didnt live up to the rest of the menu's standard. It lacked that tangy dressing throughout the salad, maybe more sumac and molasses?
Mutabal, Hummus and Baba Ganoush - all really well made and delicious. Baba Ganoush was particularly great!
Kibbe and Sambousek - the flaky pastry for the sambousek was perfect and no greasiness at all in this dish. Just bags of great flavour!
Lasagne- NOT your typical, italian lasagne in that it wasnt particularly tomatoey, however if you like the cheese and white sauce part of lasagnes - then this was amazing!! My daughter and I scoffed this down.
We ended this massive meal with desserts which were crispy filled mini kunafe which looked too cute to eat. But eat we did and it was scrummy!
Ambiance is lovely, parking was easy and UNDERGROUND!
Candy Bars main downside (which isnt big and the management are on it) is there wasn't any highchairs for little ones. There was another little family with an active toddler and the manager assured me they would be getting some in.
Other than that its a lovely, well decorated shop with a great varied menu. Be sure to give it a try!

They have a huge variety of desserts with great, innovative , creative and unique flavors and taste.
You won't go wrong with any of the items you choose there , along with good coffee, tea or selection of juices and blends.
They do also catering for all kind of parties and celebrations.
Easy parking area along with valet service available , makes the overall experience the best.

The first course I chose a Lentil soup that is subtle in flavor. It is followed by warm appetizers, Kibbeh and Fateyer.
We then moved onto the delicious mains I chose the beef stew. The contemporary dishes were made using traditional techniques and fresh local ingredients and retained the essence of conventional Arabic cuisine. The selection of sweets was the final dish to be served.
Overall this Iftar menu offers an impressive epicurean experience.
