I would definitely recommend this restaurant for its food, ambiance, service, and just its very unique aesthetics.

It’s a place to chill and one you can have a comfortable conversation with friends and family. Their staff are also well-trained at being so warm. I can’t mention a specific staff as all of them are equally accommodating.

Their foods is also suitable for any palates especially if you’re one who likes pastries and sweets. Their salads, sandwiches, and coffee are also worth-mentioning.

We stayed their for 7hours and we never had the thought of transferring as the ambiance is so comfortable.

It is very spacious with various kinds of seatings, and the food is healthy and very well prepared. My child loved the kid's meal here and I did too....very rare you find such a healthy feeling offering. There is retail space for kitchen items, and can also work well for a casual business meeting too. Great food, relaxing ambience, very kid-friendly too.

really like the atmosphere, good coffee,m and nice interior very cozy. This is a good place to study or chill with friends or have a business meeting too, Allison is a sweetheart, she made us try some of their new "house" desert & gave me the best vegetarian choice they had. Very affordable, definitely recommend it.

Beautiful ambience. Being a vegetarian visiting The Lime tree Cafe was kind of good news as it not just had vegetarian options but also some real delicious vegan cakes! Tried their vegan carrot cake, vegan banana cake, bombay toastie n a few refreshing smoothies!

Amazing decoration and friendly environment! One of the best carrot cake I have ever had and it worth to try the pistachio carrot cake too. Just enjoy it. :)

The place is pretty and the atmosphere as well.

The staff were helpful but they need to smile.

We ordered coffee latte it was normal

Carrot ???? was good

Pancakes ???? we’re looking and the flavors were really good but the pancakes themselves need to be improved because some of them were a little bit burnt.

I came with a Japanese friend who lives in Dubai. ????
I became familiar with the style that is popular in Japan. It's about cooking and environmental friendliness. I want to come here again.???????????? I highly recommend it to everyone. This time, Christmas illuminations and small items are decorated with good taste. And you can also buy them. ????????????⛄️⛄️⛄️
The takeaway packaging was perfect. From tonight to tomorrow I will enjoy the food with my husband. ????????Thank you to all the staff.

I came here again. I ate the quiche here because it was delicious. I recommend it to everyone. Christmas decorations also make the restaurant an even more wonderful space.

April 6, 2022 It was a delicious lunch with three Japanese friends and two friends who participated later. The take-out food was also carefully packaged and arrived safely and safely at home. ????️????

The place has plenty of parking & it’s very spacious! Food comes in great portion, coffee taste great too! The bakery has variety of seasonal display & product makes it a unique spot ???????? staff are very friendly & helpful. The place is great to work remotely from too.

Very popular cafe open Thursday to Sunday.
Excellent food and a wide range from scones to lunches.
Reputation goes before I as almost always full.

We booked for afternoon tea for Mothers day. The service was good but the food wasnt great for £33. The quiches tasted like they had been frozen and the sandwiches were tiny. We added 2 glasses of prosecco and the price shot up to £49. It would also have been nice to have china tea pots, cups&saucers.

Psst. Don't tell anyone but the breakfasts here are amazing.

Mrs P and I only went in for a cup of tea and when we saw the inside and saw the menu, it had to be done.

Gorgeous home made food. Very friendly staff, first time visiting but can see it being a regular occurance, nice and quiet too (Sunday lunch time ish) all the old school original fixtures are still there too so glad we chose this place for our long awaited first date ????

Thus is a lovely little cafe tucked within the museum with the most friendly staff who were rushed off their feet with our large party making ourselves comfortable there recently. The staff were none the less just delightful.

Just commenting on a recent 2 star review about waiting 50 mins for a coffee. I was there that day and 19 people arrived (having booked for coffee and cake) and then asked for breakfasts. Consequently there was a slight delay but not really a surprise given the circumstances. Some of the 19 were rude to the staff and (given that standard of behaviour), not surprisingly, the party left without leaving a tip. Apparently the party was from the University of the 3rd Age...presumably taking a course in "Entitled Behaviour" rather than "Good Manners". This is an excellent cafe, run by lovely people serving first class food in an interesting environment. Great artwork on show by the local art group is a free bonus when eating.

Booked a prosecco tea as a little surprise for my wife. Arranged in advance and could even select my sandwich choices (filling and bread type).
Wonderful food, excellent service and I am in my wife's good books for a few days ;-) . Excellent!
