Recommended: Crispy Spinach and Vegetables & Paneer Schezwan from the Appetizer menu.

Regarding the menu: starts with an introduction about different cooking styles across different Asian styles. There is clear differentiation between, veg, seafood, chicken, beef etc. This was good given some of us were vegetarians and some were allergic to seafood. Could improve the presentation overall.

We were a big group with different tastes, there was no recommendation whatsoever from the waiter except for the water bottle :)
At the end we over ordered.

Mongolian Pot Noodle was very very presented but out of all the items we ordered this is the lowest rated item. Vegetables like Cauliflower tasted raw and something seemed off about it, not sure if it was the oil or the way of cooking.

All the other items were great. We waited a long time to get the orders initially. We ordered Dumplings platter that includes Veg, Seafood, Chicken. We requested each of them to be served separately.

I didn't like the atmosphere of the restaurant. The washroom was very stingy and almost none of us went to even wash our hands. Water was served in plastic cups which put me off further.

If you love Chinese food, this place is a must visit. The Crispy Chicken Spinach is the best and one of the best selling too good. The price is very reasonable too! And if you love Indian sweets, you can just walk across the street and have your dessert there. And the Monk is a place we keep going back every time we visit Dubai !

This  is my friends favourite hang out spot.I think this is is the only authentic Chinese restaurant in Dubai so far. They have Chinese chefs, so the taste of food is exquisite and highly recommended. They have generous portions and always serve food fresh.
The staff are courteous and polite. Will definitely keep on coming back here with my friends.
For the price I have no complaints but for those foodies out there, the sauce with the chicken pepper was good . The chicken although delicious wasn’t crispy. It must be said that this is absolutely nit picking and trying to remain a non bias view.
This is a great Chinese restaurant with some authentic food and even more authentic service and prices that will make you think you’re back home.

Nice place, small outlet amd they offer only indoor sitting arrangement.

Food is amazing and tasty. One can try any dishes here and you will like the taste. Thai curry was delicious.

In karama you wish to eat chinese. Then the monk is the best option you can have. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is so good. You can try their combination rice and noodles.

Monk has been a favorite for many years now and safe to say that they've still maintained their quality. The prices are fair for the portions served. Though I should add, given the limited seating options, it is ideal for small groups. I would like to highlight their chicken thai red curry which is a favorite. It's comfort food served on a plate. I would highly highly recommend it to anyone who seeks a delicious indo chinese restaurant in Dubai.

This place for Indo-Chinese lovers (Not much authentic chinese). Tastes good, staff is bit slow but ok to manage. Prices are average and justified with quantity. Their crispy chicken appetizer is awesome (worth trying). For Medium spicy food Make sure you should order Less spicy then only you will manage to eat.

Keep trying to get a refund for a train ticket to Brighton on 13 May. Unable to use because of strike. No acknowledgements to my emails. Tel.no.given for head office does not work. I have used them many times in the past but will no longer do so.

Appear to be a cheap place to get rail tickets. However, they book you on trains that get cancelled (kings cross to york) and then you have to rebook without any compensation on a very expensive alternative. I cannot recommend.

Avoid buying tickets from this company. Trainline sells tickets on behalf of train operator companies, so it’s a middle man! Everyone can get their tickets directly from train companies(e.g., Southern, Thameslink, Grand Central etc), with better or similar prices and way better customer service. Trainline offers you loads of features but you, as a service user, would never benefit from them. They just sell you tickets for their own profit and their customer service is terrible.

Booked a coach ticket via the app. Clicked to process the payment but within the app the on screen payment processing wheel kept spinning before eventually timing out - delivering no confirmation of purchase notification within the app. Without the confirmation notification I pressumed the payment had timed out. So within the same minute I tried again, and after more lagging of the buffering wheel on screen the confirmation notification appeared. I presumed I had purchased one ticket, having received the payment notification. I checked my bank account when traveling on the coach a couple of hours later to see I have been charged twice. I have contacted customer support who said they would not refund the first payment (both exactly the same ticket & purchased at the same time) as it was a non refundable ticket type. I explained I would not buy two of the same ticket for the same trip knowingly, and explained that I had encountered lagging and timeout within the app, and that due to the app timeout I received no confirmation of the first payment. I was told that no refund could be given due to the ticket type and I could contact national express - yet I didn't have any issues with the national express app not working properly?! I am now seeking a resolution to this and will avoid using the app altogether in the meantime if there is a chance I can face issues with poor payment processing, if this issue was to happen when paying for more expensive journeys then due to Trainlines customer service policy it simply is not worth the risk of financial loss by using the Trainline service at all. Very disappointing.

Their product is Dysfunctional. I have been trying to pay for a ticket with several credit cards and it just won’t let me pay! 2023 and companies like this still struggle with payment solutions. How do you expect your business to succeed if you make it hard for your customers to pay you?

Never again

Wanted to book train journey, realised I hadn't updated my new email address to my online account (an account I've had and used for years), Could I do it without calling elusive customer services? No. No way to change email address once in the account, no customer service phone number on website. I had to google to get a phone number then was told I have to set up a whole new account with new email address and then the hapless customer service agent would help me transfer all the old date. FGS.

Railcards
They will only accept Passport or a Driving License as I'd for a 16 year old. Birth Certificates or National insurance numbers aren't good enough.
Website needs updating as it said we could take a Birth Certificate to a station. Guess what happens when I went to the station? Yep online only.
