Great shop to have your shoes repaired and / or cleaned.

Small but convenient with lots of parking around (paid).

Friendly staff and great way of packaging repaired / cleaned shoes for pick up / delivery.

Don’t expect super fast though, 3-10 days you might need to miss your favorite shoes .

They also do pick up and drop of as of two pairs.

Since they had a decent Google Maps rating and were open on Sunday, I was able to find them. Due to my emergency, they completed a three-day task in 20 minutes with a friendly and professional demeanor. I'll post on the outcomes in a few months, but for now, I'm completely satisfied.

I took two designer handbags that were badly scratched. They now look as good as new thanks to the excellent work of Shoe Butler. I recommend them highly. The service is not cheap but considering the price of a new designer handbag, well worth it.

Impeccable service!

My suede leather shoes were extremely worn after years of use, and I didn't want to toss them out just yet, so I called The Shoe Butler to see if they could give them a new look, and they picked up instantly. Their rates are pretty affordable, especially when you compare them with plenty of other shoe repair services in Dubai.

We arranged for pick-up because I was busy at work and couldn't go to their shop. Thankfully, they were punctual and called me when they arrived, which saved me a lot of time.

I was really impressed by the quick turnaround time. I wanted the shoes ready in a week, but they contacted me after four days to tell me they were ready. Since I didn't have much on my plate that day, I decided to collect the pair at their shop, which was really easy to find, thanks to Google Maps.

Honestly, I was blown away by the shoes after the repair; they look almost as they did when I bought them years ago. The dye job was nothing like I'd seen before! I really wish I'd taken a few "before" photos because the "after" was unbelievable!

They packed the shoes for me in a fancy paper bag, which made me feel appreciated and saved me the hassle of looking for a bag since I didn't bring one with me.

I have several other pairs that I'd like to restore, and I'm definitely going back to The Show Butler.

The shoes look fantastic after a restoration and the price is fair as well. Great customer service too, I had a few issues with picking my shoes and ream was super helpful and managed to arrange delivery.

I'm giving The Shoe Butler a five-star rating because they gave me such an amazing experience. I didn't even know about them until recently when my friend pointed me in their direction when I looking for a professional to fix my kids' shoes.

I gave them four pairs that looked rather ugly. You know how reckless children can be, especially when playing outdoors, and I wasn't sure the shoes could be saved, but The Shoe Butler did it! I was impressed by how well the leather straps were added to the shoes, making it almost impossible for one to notice they were restored. They picked just the right colours; even my kids were happy to see their 'new' shoes.

What's more, they restored the shoes in a week, which was quicker than I even expected since the last repair shop I used took almost two months to restore my leather boots, and they weren't even that worn out.

Something else I really liked about The Shoe Butler was their customer service. I called them before dropping off the shoes because I wanted to confirm they were open. The guy who picked was polite and gave me directions to the shop right after offering to pick them up (I only declined because I was heading out at the time).

I will recommend them to my friends and use their shoe repair and colour restoration services again. There are always more shoes that need to be restored, and I trust them now that I know their work is quality.

Very dissatisfied with customer service. I used to come to this place often and clean my shoes, until I recently came and they increased the price by nearly 40%. And when I asked if you can’t keep the old price for your regular clients, at least make a discount, and they were like take it or leave it that’s it. On top they mention price and then when they print the receipt, it’s more saying the price we said is not inclusive of VAT. Very disappointing!

I am obliged to edit my review to reply on your below response:
1. It’s 40%, I can do the math
2. I didn’t ask you to reverse the same pricing you used to give me before, but to give a returning client a special treatment
3. My concern was rather the way you handled a customer rather than the issue itself. You could have been a way more customer friendly, rather than the take it or leave it approach.
4. Last I didn’t complain about the VAT because I know the laws very well. It just makes more sense to mention price inclusive of VAT rather than saying a lower figure and then on the bill it’s more and say that’s because of VAT.
So after all if you read my review very well, you would see that my disappointment is mainly coming from your treatment.

Absolutely catastrophic on nearly all levels. They deliver late without any communication, they are a nightmare to coordinate with. They confirm a delivery time 5 times and manage to miss it and have their driver call me asking why I’m not home. They are utterly overpriced and the quality of the work is extremely basic. Their craftsmanship is abysmal, nearly as poor as their general customer service and absence of timelines.

“Shoe Repair Dubai” “Shoe Doctor DXB” are far more professional at all levels.

Also, they return my Church’s shoes bunches up and crushed in a tight bag.

I regret ever thinking of switching to try their services. Photos will follow soon with detailed analysis of their work.

Has heard about this place from friends and wasn’t disappointed. The lounge was warm and welcoming by virtue of a lovely log fire (so many places seem cold at the moment). Each table has a lovely candle making for a cosy ambiance. The food was excellent. Tasty, fresh, lovely ingredients and well presented with being pretentious. We had the Muscadet wine which was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was without fault and the owners on multiple occasions asked how things were going. Plus dog friendly (thank you!). Will certainly be returning.

Did a six mile circular walk from Chestnut Meadow Country Park to this lovely pub today. We had great wood fired pizzas followed by rhubarb & apple crumble watching men’s Wimbledon tennis finals in their garden. Food was delicious and staff were very friendly, lots of Sunday roasts also being enjoyed. A great find thank you.

Visited today for lunch. Hasn't changed since our last visit over 14 yrs ago. Sat in the garden and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. We had come as a small family get together as part of childhood remembrance. Delicious lunch. Friendly staff made us welcome and their pug so friendly

Warm and cosy pub located in the heart of Hooe. Lovely décor and some nice touches with names being placed on chalkboards for reserved tables.

Visited here with a friend and we had been looking forward to visiting. We both opted for the cod and chips. The chips were absolutely divine but the fish was awful. Probably the worst I have ever had and I have eaten fish and chips countless times. The fish itself was slimy, not meaty like you would expect with a decent bit of cod. The batter was also soggy and just did not taste right. It was the same for both of us and only managed a mouthful each.

When asked by the member of staff how our meal was, we replied stating how amazing the chips were but how poor the fish was. She offered to replace the fish which was nice of her and we agreed. However, a couple of minutes later we were then confronted by who I am assuming is the manager / landlord who then got quite abrupt with us from behind the bar saying "that is how we do our fish, so there's nothing we can do about it". He then continued to make it very awkward for us by essentially announcing to the whole pub the issue and pointing to the tables who had also ordered the fish and how no-one else had complained... That is not the way to handle a genuine complaint. Made to feel as if we were just being awkward. We both then felt very uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. The manager did then offer us a different main as they were unable to make the fish as we had expected. The burger was nice although it would have been nice to have been offered sauces. We would have asked but did not want another pub announcement.

I eat out at a lot at restaurants and almost always have a dessert and further drinks. Very rarely have any issue with the food and if I do, the problem is rectified without fuss. Due to the situation we left after finishing our main and paying.

The situation could have been dealt with a lot better. A simple replacement of the main without the embarrassment would have sufficed.

Lovely looking pub, however I have never been into a pub and been refused to have a drink even if the restaurant was full. Absolutely shocking that I couldn’t even stand with a pint, or even drink outside on the benches. Simply ridiculous.
