The train engines are great and the staff very friendly, but outside of the station ie in one of the carriages on a journey it's not a great experience and some of the destinations such as Dymchurch are just abysmal.

We had a brilliant fathers day hop on hop off day on this railway. We had a great day out and can highly recommend that you give it a try

This was brilliant
Caught the train at Dungerness and travelled to New Romney then Dymchurch..
Lovely Trip.
Excellent staff and lovely Stations on route
Went to the Railway Museum .
Which was very interesting

Great miniature railway. Our family came today we had a great time. An excellent railway in miniature, our young grandson loved it. We boarded the train at Hythe, plenty of parking, toilets and a shop here. The trains were very clean and well looked after. We bought Rover tickets, which allowed us to ride all day and get on and off at any Station and free admittance to the Model Railway at New Romney, good value for money. All the staff were friendly and polite. All the Stations were clean, tidy and had toilets. A great day out, recommended, well worth a visit

We missed the train at dungeoness so drove to new romney and had a brilliant trip to dymchurch where the youngsters played on the sand and had chips and ice cream. Then short walk back to station for our ride back. A good time was had by all.

Excellent place to bring the family and you must stop at New Romney to see the model railway too.
