I have been thinking of changing my wardrobe for so long but I have never had the opportunity to find affordable shops that have the style and quality I have been looking for. Until I found Thrift for good. The best thing about this place is the cause that they are supporting.

After a while, I learned that they were also accepting volunteers to join them in fulfilling their mission to help little children around the world and to help the environment by initiating sustainability through thrifting clothes.
And through volunteering with them I met amazing people.

Thank you Thrift for Good for existing and for being there for the children and the world!!!

For quite some time now, I have been volunteering for Thrift for Good and I am delighted to find such passionate people committed to making the world a better place. They are very welcoming towards anyone who want to volunteer and are very transparent with their finances. Thanks for letting me volunteer, and I'm happy to be friends with people who want to make a difference.

Beautiful store with really good choices! The cause is truly inspiring and motivating for all- especially the youth. As a volunteer, I can firmly say that the experience was both eye-opening and fun! Great way to socialize with others!

Beautiful souls work there, awesome products, great prices, & the best thing of all is the cause! Stylish space, pristinely prepared clothes & other things — this might arguably be one of the best modern thrifting experiences I've ever had! They don't even use plastic bags ???? only starch-based biodegradable ones

Definitely will be back!

What a noble initiative and yet at the same time still stylish.
This shop runs entirely on volunteers and all the sales are donated to help children education and welfare in less fortunate countries.
You can donate your clothes, shoes, accessories, and books here and get AED 10 store credit for every donation (you need to register your mobile number at the counter), and the clothes will be sold in the store. Just make sure the items are in a good condition as it is to be resold again.
If you have the time, please do register as volunteer here as they always need an extra hand to sort and steam the clothes.

Thrift for good is a charity shop in Dubai which raises funds to support childen all over the world by selling items which might be unwanted by someone but useful to others.
It was my 16 years old daughter Riya, who found this information on the net and persisted me to visit the shop. So we drove all the way from Abu Dhabi to Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.
They have two shops, both in Dubai, one in Golden miles galleria building no. 8 in Palm Jumeirah and the other in Times Square mall. There is no outlet in Abu Dhabi.
It had clothes, imitation jewellery, bags, purses, dresses, books, shoes and many other miscellaneous items of decoration.
You can also donate your things or/and purchase to contribute your share to the noble cause.
It represents the three 'R's policy of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
I am proud of my daughter for her noble gesture which has awakened the good in me and I have decided to donate some of my things which I do not need but may be of use to others.
It made me happy to see this act of kindness inculcate in the young minds to support and help the deprived.
I would recommend all to visit this shop and contribute to make this world a better place to live.

Yesterday I was at the golden mile branch and I was treated very badly. One of the staff in particular her name was sama was extremely rude and had a bad attitude towards me. She was disrespectful to me because I came in the shop 30 minutes before closing and it seemed she wasn’t happy when I came in. Later on she when we spoke with her she had a bad attitude and made us very upset. I hope thrift for good can take some action to improve their staffs customer service so that incidents like these can just be avoided. Keep in mind this isn’ the first time I have had a bad experience with thrift for good employees this has happened in both the golden mile branch and the Times Square branch.

Thrift for Good offers a meaningful way to donate and shop within our community of Dubai. 10aed donation credit can be used toward whatever treasures you may find. Books, clothes, shoes, handbags, and the odd item are to be found. My favorite part is that the stock changes with ever donation, so it feels like exploring a new shop each visit.
