The restaurant is licensed, serves shisha and boasts views over Madinat Jumeirah. And here the good times end.

The service is very slow for a restaurant - at best - one third to half full. Worse, the forgot two of our dishes which never arrived but miraculously turned up on the bill.

The food is good enough for the hoards of tourists that swirl through the various hotels but it does not impress me as someone who has lived in the Middle East for years.

Would I come back?
Negative.

Contrary to reviews, I found the service and food impeccable compared to other restaurants I had visited that they did simply saw through me like I was an invisible man and did not even bother to lead me to the table. Restaurants such as Belgian Beef Cafe, Taverna Greek Kitchen that came with huge reputation and great reviews just exhibited snobbery compared to Times of Arabia Gold who made you felt welcome and a valued customers with good food to go along with the experience!

One of the worst restaurants. Not tasty food, wrong orders, extremely expensive, bad series. All of the waiters /waitresses will come across your table and spy on your food، disgusting.

It’s a great Middle Eastern experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing shisha, food and service. One staff named Rawad was extremely helpful, delightful and very professional.

An excellent evening with very tasty food and lovely to be sitting outside on the terrace. Have to say thanks for the service which was attentive, professional and friendly.

The music was very good. There are two excellent musicians in a group called Bennaduo who are on Instagram. They blend guitar with the oud, both amplified and at just the right volume to be able to enjoy but without distortion from the speakers, so they seem to be pretty good sound engineers too. Great mix of mainly Arabic music, some to western melodies and good voices too.

We both had fish which was fresh and nicely cooked, without much salt and with good fresh vegetables. We liked eating outside a lot, much better than inside which looked too formal.

If I were asked would I come back I’ll say yes for the above three reasons. Although if pushed to name any one main reason I will have to say we would come back and invite others because of the music from Bennaduo. Long may they continue to play there! Their music suits the relaxed environment there to a ‘T’.

Great atmosphere and a superb evening, try it out.

the worst service ! firs time i faced the service like that and the rudeness of staff! the waiter named “Muahamad” not sure its his name , he has grey hair , was extremely rude! we ordered a lot , it was Wid celebration and in the end he proposed us tea. As everywhere in arabic restaurants arabic tea is complementary after food. so we thought it will be . “muhamad” dod ask us what kind of tea so we thought its this complimentary tea. in the end he charged us for the tea extra 50 aed , for what?? if we knew on the begining its normal tea, we will order some special kind green or fruits , but he even didnt ask or crarify! also during our stay he never smile or was polite ! when i started to compalin about this he said “its not my problem” and told me “marsalama”!!! extremely rude! and we will not leave it like this!
not recomend for anyone !!! they just will destroy your mood even in religious day of Eid!

Shisha is lovely and hospitality is second to none.
Was welcomed and the whole experience was elevated by the smikjng faces
