Everything was amazing. The staff were polite and kind, always keen on providing excellent service. The food was legendary. Only problem was the location- I would not have realised this place exists if not for scouring the website. We ordered the lamb shank, a chicken burger and a chicken and pasta. All three were lovely. The lamb was so tender, it fell off the bone. The pasta was creamy and satiating. The burger was spicy and juicy but not overpowering. The surprise winner however was the fresh bread and especially the beetroot and chocolate bread. Others we tried were dates and pumpkin. Wonderful evening.

Classy and high end African atmosphere. Great service and high quality food worth the price. We ordered beetroot salad and a variety of burgers. Definitely an enjoyable meal - loved the fries! Highly recommend a dish that includes fries or getting them as a side.

The food was excellent. We ate a cheese burger. Complimentary bread ???? at the table. So fresh. The fries were done to perfection and the burger patty was so good. There's a really nice outside seated area too.

Steak for lunch? Or ox tail, ribs, or a massive selection of other options..you cannot go wrong with this place. Tribes ticks the boxes and the steak is Goooood! I had the Wagyu blade (500g) .. brilliant! Service is excellent, extremely friendly, and quick. Not the cheapest when compared to category competition, I guess that's the only thing I can point out.. Nothing else to point out as a negative .. Will be back for sure.

The crab salad was probably the best dish out of the 3, the chicken wasn’t seasoned just smothered in sauce and same with the prawns, no flavour just spice. Was slightly disappointed due to reading all the good reviews.. maybe the red meat is better.. lamb chops, steak etc.

Amazing dining experience. Been a fan of tribes for a while now, since the mall of emirates one on the ground floor.

However, this one in Dubai hills mall topped the experience.

Firstly the mall is quiet and peaceful during weekdays compared to moe or Dubai mall. So the restaurant is a lot more quiet which is nice if you don’t like crowds also the staff can give a lot more attention to each customer if needed. However, on weekends I heard it can get pretty busy in the restaurant which is nice for vibes.

Food was cooked with attention to detail with plenty of flavor. Moreover, the staff were super attentive and friendly.

Big thank you to Allan. He really put in a lot of effort to make sure everything was smooth and the experience was great. I’ve never seen a waiter care so much tbh… He really went out of his way not only to provide a service but to make us laugh and have a memorable dining experience.

O and they accept Esaad & Fazaa discount. Maybe some others just ask.

When I go tribes, I only want to go to Dubai hills mall now. ????????

This is the third Tribes branch I have visited in Dubai and the level of service here is taken to the next level. I would come here again for sure, probably one of the best authentic customer service experiences I have had.
Sitting outside was quiet and calm with a lovely view.
Highly recommended.

Service was polite, prompt and they gave us our space and time to peruse the menu — no helicopter servers. Interior was beautifully designed and the chairs are extremely comfortable.

We ordered the BABY GEM SALAD, OXTAIL and MIX GRILL BRAAI (which comes with marinaded shrimp, chicken, lamb and beef skewers of which we asked for the lamb and beef to be cooked MEDIUM).

Oh my goodness the food is otherworldly. Top quality. Super fresh. Not so keen on the peri peri sauce which my husband selected (I would prefer mushroom or garlic), but every dish astounded!!! The oxtail fell off the bone. The grilled skewers were cooked juuuuust right, nothing was overdone. Flavour was simple yet delicious. The salad was fresh, particularly loved the grilled smokiness of the beef bacon.

Bonus points for the soft, fluffy, extremely tasty complementary buns and butter served at the beginning.

We will be back again and again!
