Is this THE best bike shop between Perth and Inverness? I think so. Top quality bikes for all budgets; custome built "specials" and off the shelf bikes. Lindsay and his team are terrific; friendly, helpful, sound advice, hugely knowledgeable and technically very advanced. Specialise in service/repair/rebuild of complex modern full suspension systems... including suspension problems other shops can't fix. Don't hesitate, visit!

Booked my Cannondale mtb for botton bracket at short notice. They also agreed to look my Trek for a cable adjustment. Unfortunately the Cannondale needed a special crank tool, which they did not have so they were unable to do the work but did adjust the gears on my Trek. Covid safe and very good service would recommend.

I regularly use basecamp for both purchases and servicing.
Always get fantastic treatment, from wanting obscure parts or kit, to having high end workshop jobs done.
My suspension always feels great afterwards. Most recently I gave them a really heavily used Fox transfer post. It had seen seasons of abuse with little to no maintenance, it was full of gunk and slow to return.
After a full strip and service from BC it feels like new again and returns faster than an ejector seat!

Needed a maxle non boost for my pikes prior to going on my hols. Thank you for sourcing one and organising it To be delivered To my address. It came in time For my hols or I would have had to leave the bike at home. I’ve had a great time just wanted to give you guys a mention. A great service.

In the spirit of transparency, this is my little bro's business! However, he has built a reputation for great personal service, going out of his way to help, with an outstanding range of world class mountain biking brands. They are also awesome mechanics, there's nothing they cant fix, well....nearly, but if youv'e trashed it, they have the power, they can rebuild it! Adn the coffee's not bad either......!

Yet again been let down by this shop. Gave them a second chance but that didn't work. Ordered a bike for a little girls birthday from Lindsay. Went in to collect only to be told by the other guy that there was no bike and that he knew nothing about it. No help to try to get one or find out what had happened just a couldn't care less attitude. Won't ever go back and believe me bad publicity goes around very quickly in a small town.
Could have been a very disappointed child on their birthday tomorrow if it wasn't for another very helpful shop, they have now also gained an order for another bike.
Doesn't always pay to try to shop local.

Both basecamp and bc suspension are amazing at what they do. I cannot thank them enough for all the help and great service. They are always willing to help and keep you riding. Cheers lads.

If it's mountain biking you're into then Basecamp is the shop for you. The best bikes in Scotland, great staff and unusually good coffee. Well worth a visit.
