Lovely spot in the centre of town. Bars and cafes to sit outside in the pedestrian area.
Or sit on the the wall or steps by the river. Great for children and dogs to paddle and play in the warm weather.

Trip there spoiled by rude cyclists demanding to get past as if they were in the Tour de France.

Really good walk through the woods, but be preoared for mud and rather steeper steps than some of the descriptions suggest.
