My kids joined this school last year, and I personally think it was one of the best decisions made. The opportunities and pathways provided by the school to keep a student on the right track have reassured us that our children are getting high-quality education.

Especially regarding the latest internship with Turner & Townsend and Design Engineer Construction, my child was given experience and an opportunity, which is the first school in the Middle East.

Our daughter has been studying in Uptown International School from KG1. She is now in gr7. When we initially were looking a school for her, one thing we were clear about was the curriculum. Secondly we wanted and all out IB school, not starting at a later level. We were glad to have found UIS. The teaching methods, teachers approach and overall well-being of a child are well taken care of. Yes undoubtedly there are hiccups but then the school's open door policy makes it workable. We have always found someone who is ready to listen and implement a concern that we have had as a parent. Our daughter has grown to be a smart and social person. She is also very athletic and school has great facilities that unable her to pursue her athletic studies. If as a parent you look for an all round school then Uptown International is the perfect choice!

As a former student, I strongly advise that you do not send your children to this school. The quality of teaching is inconsistent and is entirely dependant on your child's teacher, many of the teachers that taught here while I attended quite obviously hated their job and almost all of their students. While the facilities and marketing make this school look good, your child's experience and development is seemingly not a priority for the management and staff.

This school used to be a great school but don't let that fool you. Past is past. Currently this is one of the worst schools in UAE. It's very corrupted. All the good qualified teachers with great knowledge are leaving and only uneducated ones are there and increasing. The problem is these teachers are bringing their unqualified family members and friends to work there too. I took my children out from this school and we're more than happy.
I highly advise the school to change the management and hire qualified and well experienced staff who are not family members or friends of each other. Stop this corruption.

I'd give a 0 but I can't so I'll give it a 1. Just a bad school, there's nothing more to say. Horrendous senior management, mediocre facilities, and a crop of decent teachers mixed with ones who should find another career path makes for a school that is simply not good enough, seems shiny on the outside but is anything but that on the inside.

I have been in this school for near enough 7 years now. I would say it is one of the best IB schools in Dubai. The teachers are lovely and they have a true grip on the IB course, making it perfect for new students to comfortably adjust to the curriculum. Honestly I feel like this school is the best place to send your kids as the school itself is not only committed to bringing the best version out of everyone, but the community that surrounds it makes it feels like a second home. Special shoutout to Mr. Wright, goated teacher for real.

The school called pest control to collect stray kittens (we all know what happens next). Very inhumane approach, clearly compassion is not one of their values.

A school that should teach children how to be kind and care for all beings, have ordered innocent kittens to be killed by the pest control. Says a lot of the “values” or lack of, that this school has.
