Had mutton payable with gravy and idling. The idling was nice but the mutton payable somehow didn't have any flesh kn it and it was a little boring for my taste buds. Also later we had a good omlette I forgot the name but it was ok ok. The AC was not working and you do not get a Filter coffee you get tea and coffee tough.

If you are looking for a authentic Tamil Nadu cuisine then you will have to visit Uzhavan Restaurant. I have been visiting the restaurant regularly. Food is good. Pocket friendly. Good value for money.They offer variety of lunch combos and the icing in the cake is it's been served on banana leaf with out any charges unlike other restaurants who charge extra for leaf. My personal favourite is Chicken Biryani, Veg meals and Mushroom 65 along with variety of breakfasts offered.

I had a very bad experience which i felt like they have cheated me. I used to place order for ambur biriyani atleast twice a week through noon and was extremely happy about the food and continue to recommend to my friends and family.

Today ( 18 Jan 2022) i ordered 3 set of porrotta and non veg kurma which was around 45 dirhams. I was shocked while seeing the order. They gave me 9 porrota with normal gravy which we used to get as free of cost. While i checked with uzhvan, they told non veg kurma means its gravy only and they disconnected my call. This is some kind of cheating the customers. I will never ever order from them again.

Don't do business like this by keeping a respectful name called "uzhavan" which means farmer. It is a dishonest for farmers.

One of my favorite south Indian restaurants in Bur Dubai. Their breakfast Mini Thali with a nice cup of tea is such a delight. The place is small but hygienic , clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Also they have a small seating arrangement outside. I love this place.

We used to order from this place because of decent quality and price.Today we orderd 3 set of porotta and non veg kuruma but they delivered 3 set porotta and 3 small container gravy. When we called the restaurant and asked they said non veg kuruma means only gravy, price is AED 15 for 3 porotta and 1 container gravy???????? Wont order again!

Uzhavan is located in Meena bazaar area. We tried their breakfast items like Idli, Wada, Upma and all were good. Different varieties of chutneys which were served with the southern breakfast items were really tasty and yummyyyy!!

Packaging was good!

We stopped here for our breakfast. I ordered plain dosa and coffee and my total bill was 7.50 AED. The dosa was authentic Leela preparation with 3 different chutneys and sambar. The dosa was pretty big and filling. It’s a clean and modest place with sample seating arrangement. Washbasin provision is good and to the mark. Absolutely recommended for a good meal within budget.

South Indian items based Restaurant.
Had dosa and parotta.
Both tasted good, where dosa provided with great sambar with 3 variety of chutneys.
Mess facility also available for 3 times a day.
Bachelors shall use it.
Tea coffee and energy drink also available.
Lunch items should try soon.
