I recently visited a restaurant that had quite a few shortcomings in terms of customer service. While the ambiance was pleasant and the decor was well-appointed, the lack of attention from the staff was a significant downside.
One of the first things I noticed was that the waiters were quite quick to inform us of the estimated wait time for our food. While this might seem like a good thing, it ended up being a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, it's always nice to have an idea of when your meal will arrive. On the other hand, it felt like the staff were more concerned with getting us to order quickly than with actually ensuring that we had a pleasant experience.
Unfortunately, this initial impression turned out to be indicative of the overall level of service we received. Throughout the meal, we found ourselves constantly having to flag down staff members in order to ask for things like water refills or to request additional menu items. It was disappointing to see that no one seemed to be actively checking on our table or making an effort to ensure that we were having a good time.
That being said, the food itself was quite good. While the wait time was a bit longer than we had been led to believe, the dishes we ordered were well-prepared and flavorful. However, it's worth noting that even the best food can be overshadowed by poor service.
Overall, I think this restaurant has a lot of potential. With a few tweaks to their customer service approach and a bit more attention to detail, they could easily become a go-to spot for diners in the area. Until then, however, I would recommend approaching with caution and being prepared for a potentially frustrating experience.

+ Aurhentic vegetarian, almost homelike food.
+ Not very spicy or oily so good on stomach. Even though we had good quantity, we din't feel bloated or heavy.
+ You can have mini meal for aed 16 or add aed 2, then for aed 18 you get unlimited full meal. Best option, to eat as much you need.
+ Very helpful staff.
+ Ample RTA parking around.
Not giving 5 stars as we expect Vasanat Bhavan to surprise us with some thing new some day.

I have taken sadya thali for onam and medu vada on other days. Both were good. Price is medium level. Medu vada at 8 dhs is just about okay. Excellent taste. Size is medium and slightly crunchy. Nice coconut sauces, 3 types.
