Another fan of Viking Bageri. Delivery only (or available at some retail locations like Prime Gourmet). Baguettes arrive warm (as I live nearby) and crunchy and chewy and ooooh ???? here comes butter and ham ! Or cheese! Or ripe tomatoes! Or apricot jam! Or chocolate!
2 downsides:
- I wish there was a physical store… to counteract the following point, namely:
- the baguettes are overpackaged. I mean, it looks nice and all, and screams luxury… but it’s all too much. So much waste. I counted 8 elements of packaging when you buy one baguette (bio-plastic bag, card with your order, ribbon, external paper bag, sticker, wax paper, sticker, card). This is not a precious IPhone14 Max Pro shipping from China ???? Please be more creative and work with your suppliers to reduce the packaging.

My experience with Viking Bageri was perfect start to end - super systematic service, very well coordinated, beautiful packaging and finally the baguettes .. hands down the best I've had in Dubai in a long time! I had to dig in right away and I savored every beautifully crusty bite. I'll certainly be going back!

The baguette is great, but very expensive and very small for a baguette (as crouton are very long and burned at each side, at least 10cm of lenght lost). Also tested Strawberry Jam which is very good. I think you need to reduce a little bit the baguete packaging (it's too much for a baguette), and reduce the price because it's very very expensive. In France it's around 4AED for a bigger one. I know it's Dubaï so we can accept x2 x3 prices for a such product but not x5-x6.

PS: i ordered a baguette today and already ordered a baguette 6months ago; In my memories the last baguette was small but not so small, i hope the next should be better

8 minutes. That is how long the first baguette lasted. Some slices were eaten with Nutella, some with dijon and ham, most were just eaten unadorned... This is the Finest. Bread. In. Dubai. Such flavor, he contrast between the perfectly crispy crust and the super soft bread can not be described, only experienced. Beyond the bread, the artisans who create this demonstrate their passion and care from packaging and constant fresh batches to the thoughtful instructions on how to "resuscitate" it should you somehow manage to not eat all of it on the same day. Cannot recommend this enough to everyone. Go try this or acknowledge your life will have a baguette shaped hole in it.

I like the bread here very much. Very few in Dubai make baguettes like the ones at Viking Bageri. Pity no dine-in. Would be nice to have very fresh bread with coffee. But still lovely bakery. Good work!

The batch is so fresh and baked with love! It stayed fresh for days as when you follow the instructions and the packaging is well thought of and very simple ????❤️ very recommended ????????????????????????
